Didn't 9353 used to be listed as playing The Velvet Lounge on 4/18? They're not listed now. I guess I'll cross that one off my list.

Looks like just Dead Meadow for me this week. I'm surprised this one hasn't sold out yet.
9353 is back on for friday. they will headline. there was, unfortunately, some miscommunication between them and us.

i'm not surprised dead meadow isn't sold out. nobody in dc cares about them. last time i booked them at the warehouse (2006), they drew 48.

Then again, that doesn't mean shit given that I thought Boris would've been a popular show on here too.

I went and thought it was a good show. Her (and Dan's) banter with the crowd totally amused me.

The Autechre show was pretty great in my opinion. I mean, a lot of people weren't all on the floor raving out like I expected, but it was really nice! I was standing in front of the soundboard for the majority of the show and it was all good from my perspective. I did notice that Autechre seems to make pervy-dad-IDM now, since 75% of the audience looked like they'd either (a) been on the Sex Offenders Registry, or (b) just left home for the first time in 2 years. Made for GREAT people-watching.
