some ODD picks to warm up. Goldenvoice must have paid them not to play anywhere good before Coachella. (sans Vancouver)

Which is the nearest drive and how far?

The Uk shows sold out in minutes…

drive?? uhhh, davis, ca. .. about a 3 day drive. :) that's a college town, so i'm sure that will sell out quickly.

davis is a mere 2 hour drive or so from san francisco, or 45 minutes from sacto.

Winnipeg. I'd guess about 1500 miles.

1500miles/60mph = 25 hours

Thanks…..

My geography wasnt good enough to remember how far all the Canadian cities were. I guess Montreal would be a fun 2 day drive, but there is no show there.

Boise, Idaho??? Uummmm, I suppose one can assume from that itinerary that they will be doing a more extensive tour after Coachella, but I haven't seen any mention of it. Has there been any official word?

montreal is 11 hours from here

winnipeg is 2 days. :)

either way, they'll come around this summer, not to worry.

Apparently the first date in Europe might be May 28 in Barcelona with Mudhoney and other bands in the Primavera Sound Festival.

This might leave them most of May to play in the East Coast in the US.

www.pixiesmusic.com went live two days ago! We are still doing quite a bit of work on it, but we're updating and adding every day, so give us a few days and everything will be 100% operational!

I wondered that too…or thought they might do some appearances, and press in May, back in the States after UK?

If Barcelona is their first date in Europe, then they would have more than 25 days left in May to play in the east coast and somewhere else. I guess they would try to play in NYC, Boston, DC, Chicago… I am checking prices to be home in Spain on the 28th and see them live there.

I don't think they are planning any other us shows until after the european dates. At least that's what's being reported now.

How weird is it, that the Pixies didn't even have a website, since the band broke up before the web craze…so crazy to think about. Deep stuff..

i talked to Frank and he said they werent playing DC because of you El Tee.
