guilty pleasures 2004

I never feel guilty when I listen to music I enjoy.

I don't care that other people hate Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Green Day, Sum 41, Blink 182, No Doubt, Lindsay Lohan, U2, Outkast, Gretchen Wilson, Christmas Music, etc.

If I enjoy it, I listen to it. If you don't enjoy it, don't listen to it. If the critics/hipsters/indie/general-music-know-it-alls tell you not to like it and make you feel guilty, then stop reading what they have to say.

Be proud, stand tall and take a stance. Crank up Britney's greatest hits and dance around in your underwear - you will be a happier person if you do.
mine would have to be thinking too long about vansmack dancing around in his pants………..

:p
easily the biggest guilty pleasure of the year is "somebody told me" by the killers.

Blink 182's "I Miss You"

I don't know why and for what reasons I like it. LEAVE ME ALONE! OK?

i agree 1000% but not just that one song, the whole album….I cant stop listening to it. and i am DEAD positive that in 2 years, i will lash out at anyone who listens to, sings or mentions the fact that i ever listen to or sung a Killers song!!!

but this was a ho-hum year for tunes anyway really.

Really? I had a tough time narrowing down my list of top 5 songs of 2004 for the BigYawn poll.

I thought most people considered them fairly cheesy pop, I dont really feel all that guilty about it. It just reminds me how cool I thought the start of "Hello Again" was when I was a kid and my brother would play the Heartbreak City album. I only have the Anthology now.

"you make me wanna la la" or whatever, speaking of Ashlee Simpson. I like the video.
