O'Mankie meets his hero.......
Originally posted by Barcelona:Gerrard is made to look good by the underachievers he's surrounded by on the pitch. He's probably one of the most overrated players in England. I know this sounds strange seeing as they're in the last 8 of the champs league, but they've been very lucky with the draw. A 33 year old player with a bad hip, who's in the twilight of his career made Gerrard look like a fool recently. (Roy Keane) and he's not nearly the player he used to be.
Originally posted by O'Mankie:I like the Spanish coach they have. Also, they have three spanish players, it would be nice for them. And Gerrard, that is an incredible player. Actually I would like to see them defeating Chelsea in the next round, if that's possible.

Who'd you like to win it? I'll go with Liverpool, PSV or Lyon.
AC Milan, the way they outplayed United I have to wish them the best.
Put Gerrard in amongst Chelski, which is the rumour, and he'll be a bench warmer.
I do like the Benitez, and he inherited a team of overpaid, underskilled lazy pigs, thanks to the French idiot before him (Houllier) so he has a lot of work to do, because no other team will pay for the players he really needs to offload. Over here Kewell is known as "twisted sox" because he puts himself on the injured list if he twists his socks……..
U.S. soccer to meet England
May matchup in Chicago is countries' first since '93

U.S. Soccer confirmed to SI.com on Friday that the U.S. will meet a close-to-full-strength England team in an exhibition on May 28 at Soldier Field in Chicago. The showdown will mark the first game between the two countries since the U.S. beat England 2-0 in the 1993 U.S. Cup.
The friendly likely will not include England's Spain-based players (David Beckham and Michael Owen), considering La Liga has games scheduled for that weekend. But it is expected that England's domestic-based stars will make the trip.

I will almost guarantee that Sven will bring a bunch of players on the cusp to give them a run out.
Mankie will be first in line for this one:
