I like it and I watch it. Does it hold a candle to Bob Newhart, Mary Tyler Moore, Cheers or early Seinfeld? No way. Is it better than most drek on t.v.? Yeah, I think so (but not Scrubs or Arrested Development). And it kind of perfectly hits my demographic, as I'm the same age as the friends basically, and live in a big city with a tight-knit group of friends who are still mostly single but pairing up.
It's definitely losing steam and time to go. Will I have a "Goodbye Friends" party? No. Will I watch the reruns? No. Do I feel like I wasted time watching most of the episodes? No.

Surprisingly I quite like it. I was always resistant to it and refused to watch. But its easily identifiable characters that are always reliable and full of ready whit, make me think that there are a lot worse things on T.V. Any reality series, for a start.

I personally like it also, i'll watch Seinfeld over it though. I didnt expect people on this board to like it cause they dont usually like what the masses like anyways. As for picking it over Cheers……NO way man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny you say that. The song was out before it was used by the show. Think it was Jennifer Aniston who liked it. Don't watch the show, but picked that tidbit up somewhere…

Am I the only person that thinks this show sucks this season? I couldn't get enough of it last time around. This season I can't even sit through an entire episode.

C'mon, you mean you didn't even like the episode where Larry picked up the prostitute just so he could use the multi person diamond lane to get to the ballgame on time?I really liked that one, especially since his wife ended up thinking he did her to fullfill his b/day present.

I don't like Friends but my wife watches it so I tend to sit through it.. David Schwimmer makes me want to jump through the telly and kick his whining sorry arse. There are the odd funny bits now and again. Then again, I thought Seinfeld was grossly overrated too.
What failing spin-off sitcom will come from Friends? The two that just adopted the kid living in the burbs maybe?
