where do you get your supreme stuff? or are you in ny?
i just got a backpack for more than retail. :(

i always shop online:
american apparel
self edge
context
revolve
H&M
denim bar
I'll always stop in Supreme if I'm in NY or LA (though they keep a far better selection in the LA store), as far as if there's a particular tee shirt of theirs I want I usually keep tabs on about 10-15 NY/LA area kids online that are always happy to wait in line to make an extra $10-15 on a tee shirt so a lot of times I'll just patronize them (or find someone on Ebay if absolutely necessary, as I'm sure you know Supreme is so widely faked that it's definitely a last-ditch option only). And if you live in the DC area, Commonwealth on Florida Avenue ( www.cmonwealth.com ) is one of only 3 stores in the Continental US licensed to sell their stuff (of course in much smaller quantities) but they're good for finding a piece here and there, especially the accessory type stuff like backpacks and bags.
did not know about that store. thanks though. i'm gonna check it out soon.

Who the fuck cares if you've never heard of most of them, who are you? HAHA
I mainly wear t-shirts, which I tend to get either at shows or from Threadless. And then pants wherever I can find 'em, usually The Gap.
Nicolson Highlandwear
The Royal Mile
Edinburgh
yeah, y'all need to find american apparel wholesalers. i shop there all the time and love it, but they are super overpriced…

otherwise,
BARNEYS is my number one forever.
Neimans
Nordstrom
Saks
Montgomery County Thrift & the Opportunity Shop (represent!)
H&M
Marc Jacobs
Urban Outfitters on occasion
Target
Meeps
Paul Frank
usually stock up in LA at Aardvarks and Wasteland.

that's because Supreme and Undefeated are both LA stores. i haven't even heard of some of the others.

…but i bet you shop at Alife too, don't you? ;)
any ideas on a site for 70s/80s bands t-shirts? i usually sift through ebay, but it's a pain in the ass
I used to work at the Leesburg Outlet mall, and therefore shopped there EVERY. DAY.

now I never go shopping at all.
Nice to see Burning Airlines is still around. I used to buy stuff from them 20+ years ago. Enjoy!

I thought they'd gone under! I remember being annoyed because I had some kind of store credit with them (for $10 or so – must've been a poster or T-shirt that they didn't have in stock) and never got to use it.

Plus those b*stards sent me a Cure interview picture-disc set that was warped, but at that point I'd had very little experience with vinyl, so I didn't realize what was wrong until years later. :(

Moi, hold a grudge?

;)
H&M because my friend used to work there.

That's about it…. and Kohl's.

For work clothes (if you need to wear a suit, or at least nice pants and shirt), the best advice I ever got was develop a relationship with a tailor because you will get better clothes and save money over the long run. And it's true. The clothes fit extremely well (it helps that I've kept the same physique for 15+ years), they're of great material and quality, and while a black suit might seem to be like all black suits, it feels unique (and sassy) to me. I haven't bought anything for work, other than socks and skivvies, off the rack in years.
the humane society thrift store on gude dr in rockville, in the same strip mall as atomic music and joes record paradise. your one stop shopping adventure!

with the humane society thrift store, you know your money is going to a good cause and often can find some real quality clothes whose previous owner is probably now dead. 2 for 1 $3 dress shirts!
