Where do you shop for clothes?

Just wondering…going clothes shopping today :p
nordstrom rack is having their semi-annual large shoe size event today… one of my favorite days of the year.
gap outlet in old town..and the banana republic right next door if im feeling rich.
once every six month i trek out to the leesburg outlets and get it over with. i got there partially for the prices, and partially for the convenience (ok, the hour drive isn't that convenient, but having everything in place is worth it and it's slightly less surreal that mega-shopping centers like tysons). i always end up spending too much at kenneth cole - cheeseball is moi.
i shop everywhere - goodwill. nordstrom. bebe. forever 21. neiman marcus. gap. white house black market. and practically any other store that offers girls clothing. i'm an equal opportunity shopper. that and i have a fucking shopping addition. i'm actualy about to head to the mall myself…

so we going to see some new threads tonight j?

I'm usually pretty thrifty when it comes to clothes…if I see something that is decently priced, fits and looks alright anywhere I'll get it. Like today, I got a tie at Ross and a polo shirt at Old Navy, and total spent was like $22.
Most often at thrift stores or online, or at the Banana Republic Outlet. I have so many clothing items, it's rare when I buy anything these days, unless it's a special use item such as running shoes or running shorts.

Like anyone cares where a 40 year old curmudgeon buys his clothes!

The District Line
Just got home from the Potomac Mills in Woodbridge. Wow, it is huge. :p
I used to love Potomac Mills when I was 5, but the lack of decent stores gets old. I tend to buy a lot of clothing from H&M, a fair selection from Old Navy, and accessories from Forever21 and Urban Outfitters. Anthropologie and Banana Republic show up on occasion, as well.
Couldn't think of any last night… :)

H&M, Forever 21, Anthropologie, Gap, Urban, American Apparel, thrift stores (georgia avenue thrift <3), Target!!, the District Line, Meeps, etc.
I like to go to Urbanoutfitters,H&M, and Universal Gear.

Online I like revolveclothing.com, urbanoutfitters.com, standardstyle.com jrlaransom.com and houseofstyle.com.

They are all having sales I believe.
The Gap, Macys/Hechts. I see that a Bloomingdale's is about to open near me in Friendship Hts where Hechts was; not sure how uppity that'll be

I came back practically empty-handed from my last trip to Tyson's. What's with all this foofoo stuff for guys? The most appropriate store name is Guess… you have to Guess which side of the store is the guy clothes

And it's upsetting to read the tags on the $270 shirts at stores like Nordstroms and Saks. 'Made In China' or 'Made In Malaysia', of course, like they couldn't make it in the US at those prices
Old Navy. Macy's. Kohl's.

I miss Hecht's.

Will anybody else here admit to shopping at Chess King and Merry Go Round back in the 80s?
