WILCO @ 9:30 FEB 23/24

if there is this much hype and mayhem over this band, why are they only playing 930, just like last time? good lord, wilco, go out and play a venue where you can make some money; isn't that the point of rock and roll?

I personally think that the 9:30 Club is still the perfect venue for them. I don't know what venue in this area they could play and still have the same feeling as they do in the 9:30.

This is the only time I've had probs getting a musictoday password. Can someone please pm it?

They are shooting a dvd, so wanted 9:30 club.

I'll bet they don't do Judas Priest and Blue Oyster Cult covers like they did at Madison Square Garden.

I know it may seem easy but it hasn't been. I've tried obtaining a p/w through Music-Today and through the Wilco Ticketing but no response. Can someone PLEASE share the p/w for the Wilco Ticketing presale? I'm an ex-Chicagoan who's recently moved to DC and am dying to see them.

wow, that took all of 15 seconds to sell out. who are among the lucky few? wankers.

They were gone when I first got in at 10. This is insane. It has been years since I have not been able to get a ticket.

There is still a public sale. It wouldn't let me buy tickets for both nights (at least I didn't want to take time to learn how).

I got 2, and am notably not a wanker.

I got 2 for Wednesday, my buddy got hosed on Thursday, and was in at 10:00 on the nose.

How is this possible that it sold out in two seconds? Are there going to be any tix available at the general sale?

i got in right away and bought two for thursday…i may be a wanker but i have a faster internet connection. ha ha.

I managed to get 2 tix to night 2. I guess Ithought you could only buy one night at a time - when I went to place a separate order for night 1 it said I had to wait 5 minutes before placing another order. I guess I should have read the details to see if I just coulda purchased both nights in one transaction. Anyone know?

As far as I can tell, Wilco says they never get more than 10% of the avaliable tix for their presales (so usually no more than 100), I think the Volume/930 presale yesterday was only about 30 tix so that leaves a bunch still out there for general sale.

well, if anyone is willing to spare 1 ticket…

well congrats, semiwankers. i guess im the full on wanker for not getting through. will have to try my luck with the general on sale. lets hope im not stuck shelling out 100 bucks per like last time. *sigh*

btw live from the fillmore on wilcoweb.com is quite tasty.

I think when you have thousands of people scrambling for a couple hundred tickets, it is easy to see how it sells out in minutes. I expect the regular on sale to go just as fast.
