boardie bike ride?

blame the sunny spring day for these thoughts, but…
i know alot of us are bikers. i was wondering if some saturday we all may want to ride somewhere in the afternoon and then go to the asylum saturday high life countdown?
i would propose april 9, which is surprisingly just 2 weeks away, and i would propose meeting at a metro station (for those needing metro to get into town) and riding an easy 30 mi or so.
anyone?

mi= miles or minutes.
weekends are normally set aside for mountain biking for me. I can be persuaded into doing an old dominion ride or something, but OD is more like 50 miles round trip. But they have warm flat beer, Ahhh tastes like home.

i was thinking 30 miles, so that we don't scare people off. (I like to clock about 75 mile days on weekends, but for the sake of being social, will do less)

I'm assuming y'all mean bicycles. Correct me if I am wrong. if you mean motorcycles, though, I might tag along!

ok, let's just make this a spin-n-suds. as in, we bike around for fun a little bit and then drink, drink, drink. does that sound more like it?
and, if there are boardies who are bike-less, i have some extras…

hey, I didn't realize this was a board of bikers, I thought all of you just sat behind your computers all day and night and played google image search games! :) I'm totally up for a ride, any time. Just let me know.

is this what ggw stands for? DC - Mount Vernon is 16 miles each way.
the most awesomest bike ride, in my opinion, is a loop where you take the Capital Crescent Trail from Georgetown, up into Maryland, and then across Bethesda and Chevy Chase to Rock Creek Park, and down Beach Drive back into the City. It's about 22 miles, but it's easy to extend it further.

Speaking of bikes… My kids did well this last xmas with new bikes. I got one of each of these through a friend who owns a bicycle business for $200 total including shipping, assembly, etc.
HONDA HR265FS HONDA Carve BMX I guess they did well huh?

Was the business Wal-Mart?
If you like your kids and they like their bikes, next time you might want to think about getting them half way decent bikes.
