Lollapalooza?

Nice to hear some new songs from the Black Pumas… they are also rocking a bit more, great backup singers

And the bass player in Jimmy Eat World has some serious COVID hair, well past his shoulders..
I don’t understand why Black Pumas haven’t scheduled an Anthem show..seems like a total no brainer
Also only spotted possibly one mask in the audience so far… and no one back stage has been wearing one… guess they all have gotten the jabs

All festival staff, including backstage, is vaxxed.

Per Lolla's Twitter, some 600 folks were denied entry today because of their inability to prove vax status or show a recent test result.
If vaccinated people can spread the delta virus then it’s a whole new game….

That WP article I shared on the covid thread is disturbing

If vaccinated people can spread the virus, the new game is we go back to wearing masks.*

As long as the vaccination continues to vastly reduce the number of people who get it in the first place, and vastly reduce hospitalization and death in the vaccinated who do get it, I think re-masking is about as far as they should take it. Though i don't think it's feasible to tell society to mask forever.

I have it on good authority, that I look 100% better with the mask on. Will keep wearing.

Unknown, but likely also a vast improvement from my usual pleated cargo shorts
grandson. is not horrible for what they are.

I liked the first song, but had to bail back to work. I liked Tai Verdes slacker humpty hump vibe. Tai playing his actual first live show? in front of what looked like 10k people. TikTok famous.
Totally going as Fred Bizkits next Halloween. Kind of looks like Bob Pollard.
He caught old.
I had no idea that Journey was founded by former members of Frumious Bandersnatch!

Really got to imagine you had to do a lotta drugs to agree to name your band that (they did steal it from Lewis carol)

Four members of Frumious Bandersnatch (Bobby Winkelman, Jack King, Ross Valory, and David Denny) became regular members of the Steve Miller Band Valory, along with fellow Frumious Bandersnatch member George Tickner and manager Herbie Herbert, joined former Santana members Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie to form the band Journey in 1973.
