Phoenix & DDHIC & Long-view Rollcall

I'm painfully aware there are several threads on this subject already, so bite me…
But… I'm DJing the show which makes it that much better! Phoenix alone allows for a fun mixture of tunes.
Be there or be funky squaredanced

Thanks for the link….I'm planning to go, though it depends on some work things. Alas, going for all three bands is unlikely…

Swing by the DJ booth at some point and I give the EP a whirl… Do you have the remix on a CD? I would rather not convert an mp3 back to wav unless nessecary.

MEMEMEEMEME!
I guess you already knew that.
I will be wearing all black and screaming "FUNKY SQUAREDANCE!" as close up to the stage as I can possibly get…next to a little guy with spiky hair, who will probably be rolling his eyes at me

I'm going…got on the guest list, hard to say no. I'm intrigued about all 3 bands, I like Phoenix a lot and DDIHC has some good tunes. See you there, I'll probably be wearing a Pixies baseball cap :)

WOW…what a great show! I've got to say that Long-view was superb. Very polished, nice harmonies, great songs. DDIHC were fun, probably my least favorite of the night but they were still cool. Phoenix were solid all around. Some songs i liked more than others, but on the whole they looked pleasantly surprised by the good turnout and the enthusiastic crowd. Their drummer had a shit-eating grin the whole time! I'd go see them again though…and by the way, pretty ballsy to open up with "Too Young"!
