During Wilco, I was about 5 feet back and some people I befriended and myself grabbed that inflated whale that was going around and made it dance for the band. The guy next to me went "could you PLEASE knock it the fuck off? I'm trying to listen here!?!?!" At which point he popped the whale.
I'm not sure if I offended anyone here, but isn't the whole point of concert events like this to have fun listening to music with friends? That guy I mentioned certainly didn't look like he was having all that much fun.

it was a good way to loose weight and exercise. it was 1 mile between the main stages. if you wanted to see bands back to back between those stages you were going to miss 15 minutes somewhere. most people got tired of the walk and stayed on one side. it was funny to see kids running to stages at 11am to wait for an act to come on at 8:30pm. fwiw pitchfork was better.
