Yay! This is getting fun!
Modest Mouse Tickets?
Logan's profile was public 15 minutes ago, but now that he's been exposed it's private.
But that's ok, I saved all his pics =) And I'm going to post them on CL along with his work address.

I'd advised strongly against this… and take your beef to PM or email or face getting banned from the forum
I could care less about the forum. I only care about showing scumbag scalpers justice.

This dude is a total fraud and guess what? I know who you are now and where you work. So yes, I'm contacting the authorities because what you're doing is illegal.
Well, I'm not sure this is the forum for threats. But, I'll let the moderators decide - as that of course is not up to me. However, if you check around, you'll find what he's doing is not illegal at all. Ticket brokers sit in offices and do it, and have for decades in Washington DC. The last I heard, the only thing illegal was to sell at the venue on the night of a show for above cost.
Feel free to follow up on that - I may be wrong. But, "I know who you are now and where you work," seems a little out of line to me. Just my opinion…

LOL - hilarious.
It does appear Kosmo has this firmly in-hand however. I think soon enough there'll be someone shouting, "Ok people, move along. Shows over - nothing to see here."

then find some other place to perform this "justice"
so everyone is sticking up for a scumbag that buys up all the tickets and immediately posts them on ebay at over 100% face value. Ha, so be it.
I'll take care of it myself.

if there is actual evidence of scalping taking place on the forum, then users get banned…. note much can be done if it's happening outside of the forum
You do realize a lot less time and energy could be spent buying tickets for the show in Baltimore, which as of noon are still available

you should consider lending them to walkonby, who is afraid of getting shot on U st. i've been telling him to grow some for years, maybe loaners are the way to go.
damn dude, i just read this. good one. it's a shame that kosmo is shutting us down; i'm assuming that is what he meant in that other thread. i've enjoied our tennis net banter. cheers. and i don't like modest mouse. plus growing is illegal.

Double Entendre is GOOD, something this board always needs more of
Tifts over scalpers are so yesterday
Obv. scalping isn't illegal…but how did this guy obtain so many tickets in the first place?

hackers make the world of computers go around. someone should ban them before computers are killing us like in terminator and christian bale is yelling at us.
Well apparently Logan Sease does contracting for the Department of Homeland Security–according to his Facebook page, "The #1 Job in America… I finally did something right http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bestjobs/2007/"
That's right, Logan, especially since you learn how to hack computers!!

You guys do realize that the general consensus is that Modest Mouse sucks live, right? And that Johnny Marr isn't on the tour…

Just curious, why do people think that? I've seen them a few times and don't see why it would be common conception that they suck live.
For example, I know lots of people on this board bitched about the opening set for REM. Can someone tell me specifically what they didn't like about it. It seemed fine, but not great, to me.
I think they sound better in a club setting as compared to an outdoor festival type.
