U2 / MUSE in DC and VA

So did you get tickets Borealis?  So I'm assuming that the GA field for this tour is 250??
i'm not sure that the presale is even needed - the GA field will hold several thousand people.  i suspect that quick fingers shouldn't have too much of a problem scoring GA tickets at the onsale.

wml7 - no, field are $55.

Really??  Why the heck is field so cheap?  I know you are crammed in there but you would expect it to be more.
for at least the last few tours, if not longer, GA/field/pit tickets for U2 have been cheaper than the best seats immediately behind them.

i suspect the idea is to cater to two different classes of fan: calmer, better off financially, and seeking comfort/defined space, VS. younger, less affluent, rabid, willing to be packed in shoulder-to-shoulder.

in other words, they pack the pit with the kind of fans that an ego-driven rock star like bono is going to want right in front of him :D
Isn't this U2 tour the ones opposed to the merger of ticketmaster and livenation be boycotting?
;D

i could not care less for U2
i've seen them about 12 years ago in DC and was not impressed
Muse on the other hand might present new material
and listening to new muse material before it comes out on the album - priceless
that said, I am gutted that Muse don't have a pre-sale for their fans
it means they only want exposure

Yeah for the Giant stadium presale all the $55 tickets are in the 300 sections.
i did not buy seats,
i want to be in the pit, how much is the pit?
I can't find any available for pit.  However these ticket prices are weird.  It's showing $250 for tickets that are in the 200 sections but for even closer seats it shows 95 bucks in the 100 sections.
where are you looking at the prices?
I've heard that field seats are 250$

tier 1 near the stage 250$ and tear 1 away from stage and up are 95$
i'm looking right on ticketmaster.  You put in ACCESS as the venue code and you can select your seats.
yes that's what I do, yeah, sections closer to the stage are 250 tier 1 or tier 2
I just pulled a section 208 Row 11 for 250 bucks.
that is just too far for these money
yeah these prices make no sense.
you guys are helpless… please go to the TM page and play with the "Section" pull-down - it'll show you prices.  i'm tired of explaining this to y'all :)

no field tickets are available in the venue presale.  only the u2 fan club presale.  you'll have to wait for the public onsale for those.
haha you are right sorry for the confusion.
one last question - are there seats on the field?
and another one - will the pit be open for general pre-sale?
how about going on a livenation or u2 site for info…  the 9:30 club and I.M.P. have NOTHING to with these shows… and hope there isn't a problem with Muse's DAT player during their set….
