I will buy this when I can get it for $75 or so…as everything neworder it’s classy but way way overpriced. Almost laughingly so…

I recently got the Movement and Power, Corruption and Lies boxes for $75. I still think that’s expensive! I mean I own the albums multiple times over so paying $75 for a cd of outtakes, a dvd or two of contemporaneous live performances and a 50 page book is pricey! It’s one of only 2-3 acts I would do this for…
boxsets never interest me.  Usually not interested in outtakes of released songs.  Especially not interested in paying ridiculous prices for them.

says the man with easily over 100 box sets  (guessing, but I think that's accurate)

I own a few and they always gather dust.
With the advent of streaming, the hard to find single songs are now easy to find
other than a vinyl fetish or desire to have some cool book/artwork
I love when artists put out career spanning box sets like Roxy Music 1-8 or the David Bowie eras series. I have very, very little interest in single albums turned into 5 LP box sets.

Love and rockets finally separate the hard to get ones out of the boxset

Vinyl reissues of 1994’s Hot Trip to Heaven and 1996’s Sweet F.A. will follow on June 9.
And two yet-to-be announced bonus titles are due in October.
I wonder if hutch will be bending the rules on not buying re-issues…

Willie to re-release four albums two for the first time on vinyl

All four albums will be released on 180-gram black vinyl, along with limited edition color versions on 140-gram vinyl: Teatro on translucent red vinyl, Milk Cow Blues on orang vinyl, and The Great Divide and Spirit on clear vinyl. The records are available at uDiscover Music and WillieNelson.com and will arrive via a staggered rollout. The Great Divide drops first on June 23, Teatro on Aug. 4, Milk Cow Blues on Sept. 15, and, finally, Spirit on Oct. 20.
Sometimes it’s necessary to buy the reissue but I have dozens of Willie records on LP and CD so spending $40 seems unlikely
One for the SFA completist

Gruff is re-releasing the final album from his teenage band Ffa Coffi Pawb - “Hei Vidal!”
