can i bill their offensive line for my lost $105?

I noticed you made your pick for week three prior to winning week 2.

The gambling gods chortled…

Well I am happy to keep the big boys bus rolling and it sounds like Seth is too.  I have no objection to your throwing in now if Seth doesn't.

yeah, i was hoping i could beat the system.  i was surprised that it let me pick week 3 already, considering week 2 wasn't over yet.  apparently yahoo fantasy isn't as dumb as i hoped it was.  certainly our commish wouldn't have noticed, right?

dammit.  first year that i've finished out of the money.
Seth and GGW - what say yee?

Should we do the email thing?
I'm in

put all the teams back in?
Yes - I am in as well. We will start with a clean slate. The good Dr. Phibes is welcome to join if he wants to put his money where his typing finger is.
Check your PMs, gentlemen.

Dr. Phibes, I'll need an answer by kickoff Sunday, preferably sooner in case I don't check the board over the weekend.
just for the record, i think next year we should get 2 strikes. i would really like to pick in week 3 for ONCE!

Smackie, PM me with the rules for the 1k club and I'll confirm by Friday…..sounds kinda fun…….

The defeats the whole concept of a survival pool. How about three strikes? Or four?

well, i am just saying. there is an option on Yahoo for more than one strike. And i do know a few ppl who are in some that have 2 or 3 strikes. Its not crazy stupid. Especially if you find your pool is usually over by week 8 or 9.

how long did it go last year, i forget. (as i was out in week 2 of course)

First year we went 10 weeks.  Last year we went like 3 weeks or something like that.

I'm pretty sure Venerable Bede and myself won in week 5 or 6 last year as we were the only 2 left and we both went out that same week. Not sure about the high rollers. I think it was even a few weeks earlier.
You could be right Sparx…I was on the campaign trail last year at this time and really don't remember much about last fall.

Don't forget to get your picks in by KO Sunday.  I will let the group know who picked who in the Deathmatch after kickoff.
All three people (Phibes stepped up!) picked Baltimore this week in the big money pool.
free play
Eliminated in Week 3

Thus far nobody, however 3 people still have the Cowboys tonight: Miss P, 6949 and smackie.  That's quite a threesome….

Picks

3 - Dallas
2 - Baltimore
2 - Green Bay
2 - Philadelphia
1 - New Orleans

In the Big Money pool, as mentioned before it was a free play weekend as all three picked Baltimore.
