There's a $5 pool, a $100 pool, and a $1000 big-spender pool (the Seth, GGW, Phibes three-way).

And then there were three…
I'd like to thank the Raiders, who once again upset a team from the Eastern time zone, tired from the flight to Oakland and worried about getting tetanus from the fans.
Remember to get those picks in early for Green Bay over Detroit, or Dallas over Oakland – our two network broadcast Thanksgiving games. Of course, where I'll be on Thursday, there's no NFL Network, and thus no way to see the only interesting game, Giants vs Denver.

In the big-big money pool, Seth and Phibes both won, but GGW is out a grand (Cincy).
Eliminated in Week 11
Child Please (Cincy)
D.C. Snipers (Cincy)
Picks
2 - New Orleans
2 - Cinncinatti
1 - Arizona
Phibes, Crevers and Smackie are left fighting it out in the $5 pool, with Phibes and Smackie in the $100 pool.
When I was listening to the Sports Guys podcast with Cousin Sal last week, Cousin Sal said the Cincy game was ripe for an upset and demanded that they take the Raiders and tease it. I shit you not.

Big night all around…..
Eliminated in Week 15
Phibes* (Denver)
Smackie* (Denver)
We are both Carls (Denver)
Phibes, Crevers and Smackie split the $5 pool money ($28 each), with Phibes and Smackie splitting the $100 pool ($350 each).
And in the $1000 pool…..
Seth (Arizona)
Phibes (Denver)
Wow - tied with 2 minutes to go, I'm sure Seth was sweating, but three hours later he's $2000 richer.
If you haven't paid yet, please do so now.
Winners, PM me for payment details. Congrats all around….

having been on the road several times this year for away Ravens games, I now know how visiting fans feel to go all that way to hear people cheer your team getting their asses kicked
but I sure enjoyed being home for it yesterday
Pittsburgh, however, will be another story I'm afraid

Ugh, on Sunday morning, I had my cursor on Arizona over Detroit, but then left my Denver over Oakland pick alone. At least now I've broken even on 2 previous years of sucking at survival football.
Thanks for organizing, vansmack. Happy holidays everybody!
