Who's going to the 6th and I shows? I'm trying to decide whether to drop $30+ on a show that might be a snooze but might also be a trascendent experience (a la the Antony show a year ago)

Also, her new one is going to be a triple-CD, and the tracks on Drag City are interesting. Ys also an interesting album and I've played it a few times recently.

I'll be there…about 95% certain.  Gotta admit though, hearing that this is a three-disc album has me less than psyched.  Ys is great and all, but doesn't compare to her first album, IMO.

she is pretty smokin, to be sure, but she and susan boyle are coming at this in two different ways

show will be with a six piece string section………i've only seen her solo 3 or 4 times….looking forward to it.

I'm going Monday.  Rhett, I can't answer your question.  I think the first time I heard her, it was live.  I think she's grown into her look a bit…browsing through old photos of her from the first album, she didn't look that great.

Has anyone who ordered 6th and I tix received them yet? I ordered maybe three weeks ago and haven't seen them yet, but I'm also afraid I threw them out.

New album leaked by the way. Its pretty good but is an awful lot to take in. I see it growing on me though.

I bought them right when they went on sale, and I just got them in the mail a few days ago…

Anyone downloaded the leak? Obviously as a triple album, there's some filler, no doubt, but definitely some gorgeous songs.
