2010 so far....

So we're almost half way through the year and I think its shaping up to be a pretty strong year musically imho

Good to great efforts from old favorites like Spoon, Ted Leo, The National, New Pornos, Massive Attack, Besnard Lakes, Apples in Stereo, Black Keys, Basia Bulay, Emma Pollock

Very good new (or new to me) stuff from The Soft Pack, Hot Chip, Broken Bells, Holly Miranda, These New Puritans, Beach House, Tallest Man on Earth

The only real clunker so far for me has been The Whigs

Any other good stuff people would care to recommend?
The Dead Weather and Goldfrapp are probably my favorites so far…
Off the top of my head, Beach Fossils and Malory.
The new Black Keys is absolutely amazing.

I've been surprised how much I like the Flying Lotus album. Same with LCD SS, but as I suspected, that one is already kind of fading.
Like Crystal Castles a lot. Same with Major Stars, Black Breath, Erykah Badu, Radio Dept.
Hah!

Wonder if Omar Rodriguez-Lopez is putting out another guitar masturbation-tastic effort this year.

Oh good call on the Major Stars. Still need to get around to that Flying Lotus.
I have been really enjoying:

Titus Andronicus
Flying Lotus
Beach House
The National

I don't even like the Black Keys and I like their new album.  I have the new National, but haven't listened, yet.  My two faves of the year that I've heard are Two Dancers by Wild Beasts and Gorilla Manor by Local Natives
Delphic
Radio Dept.
