a pair of tickets clocked in at $76.
hm. so did fees go up? one is $40 w/ fees today (will call / std mail).
no tee, the more tickets you buy the cheaper each ticket is since the fixed cost is spread across more tix. $40 for 1, $76 for 2. 1 ticket is not half of $76 (aka $38).

I knew you bought two tix, didn't know the fees went down with more tix purchased. Good to know, although, I generally buy only one after years of getting screwed w/ extra tickets b/c friends flaked.
Okay…please don't all jump on me for $0.38, but…it's been awhile since I purchased a ticket at TF (only a few months, really) and I don't recall a credit card fee on top of everything else. My total purchase: $30 base +$6 + 4 (TF/club fees) = $40. I looked at my credit card stmt., and I see the charge is $40.38. Again, it's only .38 cents, but I'm curious is there an additional fee? And, what is it for? Using a c/c?

That's the "9:30 club regular" tax. You should see the tax bracket Sweetcell is in.

it's not that they go down, it that the $4 TF fee is paid only once. buy 1 ticket and that ticket gets dinged for $4, buy 2 tix and they're only dinged for $2 each, etc.
buying tix for friends who flake sucks, been down that road numerous times. solution: don't buy a ticket for someone unless they commit to paying you back no matter. they can't make the show? it's their problem, not yours. best to deliver the ticket and collect payment before the show.

good catch, tee. i just checked out my online CC statement, and it's for $76.76. i too was charged an extra 0.38 per ticket. weird. can anyone at the club, or TF, comment on this? should we expect these fees to slowly inch up over time?

Thanks, cell, I've been super slow, but in the end, let's just sum it up - you paid less. ;)
Perhaps I need to tag up with boardies to make one bulk purchase for our tickets.
Solution for flakes = don't buy extra tickets; if you do, have cash in hand / Paypaled immediately.
TFAmy - are there credit card use / transaction fees? And if so, where is this charge posted?
Crimminey. Instead, I think I'll pay azag .38 cents for every ticket he gets me a ticket at the b.o. Either that, or, 3/4 of a postage stamp.

they've enabled that recently. you can now order tix for several shows and only pay the $4 processing fee once.

Dangit. I'm way behind TF update information. Who's buying my TforF ticket at the b.o. for me? ;)

Reply to my inquiry at TF:
This appears to be a systems error. I have refunded the .38 cents back to the account the charge came from. Please allow 5-7 days for the refund to appear back in your account. We regret any inconvenience.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Anyone notice the glitch before today? ("It's uh, it's aggregate, so I'm talking about fractions of a penny here. And over time they add up to a lot." Good movie. ;))
Anyway, thanks for fixing it TF.

I got my blast email just a few minutes ago. Didn't announce all that many shows, but Dirty Projectors was one of those announced.
I buckled and bought 'presale' tix for Hold Steady, Social D and of course GBV. Will wait on Superchunk (I'm going for TOMMY KEENE!!) as this show won't sell out quickly, if at all.
