Concert Posters
thanks for the tip pollard…i collect gig posters and would love to get one of the NYE show posters since we'll be there.
my favorite gbv poster is the blue/green one with the helicopter flying over crowds of people. i had the opportunity to buy it a while back and passed on it. now i can't find one anywhere, even on eBay.

My two most recent purchases (I think I tossed these up somewhere else, but don't they deserve a showing on the 'official' concert poster thread? ;) ):

This print is virtually impossible to find, as Kleinsmith has said he gave away most of his early work, including this particular piece, and only has 2 in his possession. (paraphrased from a quote of his at gigposters.com) "I had cut my hand with an X-acto earlier that day. I was carrying a stack of magazines or something over to the photocopier to make this poster and and it just hit me - must make Band Aid into big poster. I peeled it off my hand and blew it up. The blood stain is real and everything. If I was really punk I woulda dumped my own blood into the ink." - Jeff Kleinsmith
