Ticketfly improvements since 2010?

So Phish is playing 2 nights at Merriweather again.  The ticket buying process for their shows in 2010 were a total disaster.  What improvements have been made to ticketfly's system since then?  Have the servers been beefed up to handle the large demand or should I expect more frustration?
Probably no improvements just so you can add something to the "GET RID OF TICKETFLY" thread :)
Think of this ordeal coming up as your well deserved penance for continuing to see Phish in 2011.
i don't think demand will be quite as high this time 'round.  that last show was the first of their post-reunion run so there were years of pent up demand.

You are forgetting that these are Jam Band fans who are crazy, rabid mother effers! Second generation Dead Heads.

No, the 2009 Merriweather show was the first back and it was handled smoothly by ticketmaster, even though it sold out instantly.  The 2010 Merriweather shows were the first on ticketfly and were a disaster even though the lawn didn't sell out.
If you didn't enter Ticketfly's t-shirt design contest, then you really have no business criticizing Ticketfly.
Hello Again, my friends! Long time no see.

Yes, we have made MANY changes since last year's Phish debacle. In both equipment and humans.

Our engineering team has quadrupled and we should be all set to go for this sale.

Phish was a hard one for us, but I'm sure you remember Virgin Fest as well, after which we made major improvements.

We also added an extended call center, for phone sales and questions. And updated call center technology.

I certainly hope we can keep you all happy this time.

Not if they actually enjoy listening to Phish, you can't.  A hundred years ago they'd put
people like that in a closet and never let them go out in public.  "Second-class citizens"
they were.  Some things never change.  You can still smell them a mile away.

Great to hear, thanks Amy
Be careful with typing in credit card info to ticketfly. if you mistype anything, ticketfly will not be able to process any new info you put in. the only way around it is clearing your cache/restarting, something.

Ive spoken to ticketfly about this, and they said engineers are working on it. wont be to cool if it happens in the middle of an order and it wont go through.  <unless they somehow got this fixed in a week>
you could do what i did . . . i stopped listening to phish.  how odd.  and i hate merriweather.  not odd.
I was amused buy the ads on Facebook by Ticketfly asking the question "tired of high service charges?"  The answer is yes.  Tired of high service charges FROM ticketfly.  Good day sir.
Oh cool, you saw my ads! The targeting is going as planned…

What's the point of them?  You don't have lower ticket fees…  It just reminds me how much I wish 9:30 would use ticketalternative.com instead.  They actually do have lower fees.

Yeah, I just got two Low tix and with fees it came out to $36.  A bargain.
If ticketfly does crash, where will the backdoor links to buy tickets be posted?  Here, twitter, etc?
the official line is that TF is cheaper than TM for MPP shows and MPP shows only.  there is little difference for 930 club tickets.  as others have mentioned it's pretty comparable to the old regime (tickets.com).
More than MPP. Almost all of our venues, actually.

Unless you're just referring to the venues in your area.

And yes we will be around on Twitter/ Facebook/ here/ The Phish forums posting alternate links if anything goes wrong.

you know . . . i like widespread panic.  they have this awesome presale for their shows and yes sometimes multiple shows go on sale the same day making it suck.  but i see they went multiple show passes for the latest tour, making it easier.  i've always got my tickets through their presale and paid less than ticket services everytime, and they send out the tickets just as quick as ticketmaster.  phish should ditch the lottery and go with straight up presale.  or create an entire internet based company with low overhead to just sell the tickets outright and control the fees so fans are happy.  they're big boys with enough power.  all bands should push it.  who will be the first, which will alter the landscape?  radiohead . . . mmm?  and whatever happened to devendra banhart, besides the art?  the bands will more than likely raise the price of tickets to overcome the cuts from ticket sellers, but people don't bitch as much about that anymore unless it's flat out fucking ridiculous like rolling stones or madonna.
