Yeah, I almost pulled the trigger and got tickets on either ebay or stubhub.  Glad I didn't now, now I just need to find a place to stay  ;D

tickets still available but all in the 300 sections as of 11:08  ;D
I've lost all respect for James Murphy.. he's nothing but a common scalper…and a hypocrite….its pretty documented by now what happened with the Madison Square Garden sales…

guess the brokers couldn't unload all the tickets on the secondary market.

seems to be a popular opinion: http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2011/03/lcd_soundsystem_38.html#comments
wow, Terminal 5 isn't a bad venue after all (but this is experience from the floor). Sound isn't bad at all.
the sound is definitely good, i've never heard anyone complain about it.  it's just that it has no soul… has all the character of a strip mall.  it is very new york - bigger than life, towers up to the sky, huge VIP section, etc.  i don't hate the venue (i wouldn't skip a show just because it's at T5), but i'm not in love with it either.
How was the show last night?
Not the best I've seen them but will still rank it in the top 3 out of the 6 times I've seen them. I think it would have been a better experience for me if I wasn't in front in the pit. I was in the pit last year in SF and don't remember a pit as rough as this and the crowd was more grown up. Show was 3 hours long, divided in three sets plus encores. The biggest surprise was probably Freak Out/Starry Eyes (from the 45:33 single) with a male choir who also helped out with 5 or 6 other songs. Wish I could go to the MSG show but I think the setlist will be the same.
I was also at the show last night. It was fantastic. Best show i have seen from them (which includes freefest, coachella 2010, the last 9:30 club show, and one of the T5 shows last may).

Crowd on the floor was a bit rough though.
wow.

This is why you have to elbow peoples faces off like some dancers in here do  ;D
^^ I didn't elbow but I did push back….we were upfront on the rail so it was much easier to push back using my back while hand on rail… :)
I appreciate the information that the pit was a bit rough/unpleasant.  I was going to go for that tonight, but now am thinking about the balcony railing instead.
Friends were there last night and said it was awesome up there. On the 3rd floor - dead center balcony. The floor is always rough for shows like this. Definitely avoiding it tonight. My friends and I will either be on the 2nd or 3rd floor on the rail.

Cheap drinks and access to the restrooms without having to push my way to the front. Total win!

Looks like Mr. P and I have a spare for the final show at MSG. In the 100s if there's an interested boardee.
Section 131, Row F to be exact. Annnnd, you don't even have to put up with us, we'll be in another section ;)
thats a good area someone on here better jump on it  ;D
Show was absolutely amazing last night.  Completely eclipsed the other three times I had seen them.

If anyone is going to the remaining T5 shows or has GA for MSG and wants to be up front, I highly recommend being on the opposite side of the stage as James Murphy (if you are looking at the stage, he is on the right, by the drum set).

I got there early last night and ended up on the rail between Nancy (who is center stage) and the guitarist.  There was tons of shoving and crowd surfing (seriously) but it was all in front of James.  I had plenty of room to dance, never dealt with crowd surfers, and got minorly pushed from behind once or twice.  I saw several people who were on the rail more in front of James get pulled over the railing because they couldn't handle it.

I won't post any spoilers, but I think the setlist last night had some variation from the first night.  Including one song that James said was the first time it had been played in 4 years.
