Paul Simon at Club

I should have specified "doing the songs of the Rolling Stones."

McCartney would be allowed to mix Beatles, Wings, and solo. Which he typically does, right?

At the rate his solo career is going, you might be able to get Mick Jagger to play your living room for $60.
I'd add neil young to your list.
What about Cat Stevens  ;D
Ok i'll add Neil and Bruce (take that Wallace), but you'd have to pay me three beers and a free ticket to stand through Cat.
Cat Stevens….only if he was in one of those cages that you throw balls at a target to dunk him in icy cold water..

I'd pay good money to do that.

Tom Waits

(already spent $85 x2 in 1998, two nights…..that was a lot of money back then….)
Okay….here's my take on those mentioned

Bowie - only every week if I could
Jagger - depends if Top Gear was on telly that night…even a repeat.
McCartney - NOPE
Willie - possibly…so many people love this bloke I have got to be missing something.
Neil - Yep
Bruce - Naw…saw him many years ago. Great show but don't need to see another.
Tom Waits - most definately.
Stevens - with stipulations…see previous comment.

Oh..
PS - Yep.

Others not mentioned

Dylan - nope, love lots of his work but he needs to give up live in my opinion.

Morrission - miserable old twat might not even show up himself, so NO!

Beach Boys - Nope…I must be missing something with these too but don't want to find whatever it is.

BTW- How old is Joe Jackson???
What about:
Leonard Cohen
Scott Walker
Robbie Williams

I guess it's fair that Mick would be allowed to do Stones songs, but who wants to hear any guitar player except Keith? That's much less of a concern with Paul. Plus people have had decades to get used to Paul playing Beatles tunes solo, whereas I don't think Mick does Stones songs (or at least not more than a couple) on his solo tours. I'm totally pulling that factoid out of my bum though.
Leonard Cohen…nope
Scott Walker…goddamn fascist
Robbie Williams …only if he wears his Mork from Ork suit

Let me try and focus the temptation:

Dwight Yoakam
Lyle Lovett
Johnny Cash (just go with it – assume two years before death)
Aaron Neville
Eric Clapton

Rod Stewart - Yep as long as he's singing his own old school stuff and not a tux wearing Sinatra wannabe
Elton John - Yep
Ray Davis (inc. Kinks) - Yep
Sting - ? Buy me a ticket and I'll keep you company
Knopfler - Yep

So we have 8 immediate family member who wanted to go. The site did not say what the limit would be.  So I bought two tickets and immediately asked my wife to buy two.  She got online and bought two tickets.  OK, Great so far.  Then she got an email a little while later showing REFUND of the price of two tickets?  What the….??????!!!!!!! She used with a different name and credit card (but same mailing address.)  We are not scalpers!! just a family who has listed to Graceland 1 million times!
Just bought a pair five minutes ago, probably got yours that was cancelled!!

Thanks but sorry!
Ticketnazi can't tell the difference between scalpers and people who have listened to an album a million times I'm afraid.

On the bright side this is proof they do try to avoid scalpers getting tickets.

April Fools  ;D
You know, that honestly never occured to me. But… you're probably right and… I'm probably a retard.
Although he did tour with NIN in the past.

On the other hand…..any artist of any quality who is allegedly coming to south FL means it's probably an April 1st prank anyway
