Paul Simon at Club

I had two tickets cancelled too…. schradach sent me the disclaimer (i emailed him to ask him about it after buying the second "household" set) which i missed i don't know why. .i looked for it..

basically my wife bought two yesterday through amex presale. .. i bought two this morning to help out some people with poor ticket kungfu who i knew would get zilch (and they did!)- friends of ours- who want to go bad…i thought about it long and hard before confirming purchase but i could not find anything saying two different people who lived together couldn't buy them..

but it got cancelled pretty quick… i'm just glad the amex presale ones did not get cancelled..my wife would be so ticked off..

what i saw said "2 per order" not "2 per order, household, " etc.. but schradach sent me the fine print and its in there

i'm still a bit nervy that they'll cancel the other ones but i don't think so..

You could just call this guy:

But on a serious note, kudos to Seth and co. for doing all this to at least try to keep scalpers out. $50 ticket price concerned me at first, because I was expecting them to cost way more, but it looks like they're actually following through on some of these anti-scalper threats. Obviously it remains to be seen what pops up on Stubhub/Craigslist, but so far it's a good sign.

Those seats are right beside the stage.

Sweet.
Best part is:

PLEASE NOTE I WILL PERSONALLY MEET THE BUYER AT THE 930 CLUB

THE NIGHT OF THE SHOW BETWEEN 530-630PM

no the best part, if its the same ad, is the part about "I will give out cell phone number an hour before show" or some such..i think they changed it to "BUYER WILL BE PROVIDED

WITH MY CELL PHONE TO DISCUSS MEETING TIME .        "

930 should sue for illegal use of 930 logo.

i'd love to see that guy beat the shit out of this scalper.. have that guy buy ticket and then beat shit out of him or something..
Yeah, that too. Same ad. I love how they try to spin it as a personable touch. He'll even deliver the tickets to you, by hand, the night of the show! Good man.

As he takes $1000 from the buyer and then picks up his tickets only to be ushered straight into the club.
its kind of funny.. the ad started earlier today saying two tickets for 999$ minimum and now its one ticket for 499$

maybe guy realized he'll have to check out show after all!
That's awesome. Even though a buyer for that one ticket will still net him a good profit. Still an improvement over dozens of people posting 8+ tickets for a show like this.

Back to the actual show, what kind of band situation is this tour? Solo? Full-band?

band but no steve gadd which is a bummer.. gadd's been his drummer forever , came up with 50 ways to leave your lover drum intro, etc.. i think he's just busy
Ah, that's too bad. Gadd's a great drummer.
So, would there be people on the night of show selling their second ticket for face value, say if a friend bailed on them? (okay at least two people, 'cause I need two)

"WE AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE LAYOUT OF THE SEATING BY THE VENUE , ARTIST AND/OR PROMOTER."
Mind you…..anyone willing to spend $500+ for a single ticket to a concert by any artist.deserves to be ripped off in my opinion. Each to their own though, so not judging.

hmmmm….I guess I did didn't I? I meant I would understand if they saw value in paying that much for a show. I can't.
If you're making 250K (or more) per year, $500 for a concert ticket is nothing. Also, someone who pays that kind of money is more likely a bucket lister than a regular concert goer.
