everything except the cab afterwards. i have never seen any cabs around the venue after a show. oh wait . . . that's right, the telephone. my bad. when i went to gmu, i took the shuttle all the time. it was nice and comfy and clean.
So who's gonna go see Soundgarden?
Thanks. Do they "card" you on the GMU shuttle? Whenever I go to events at AU or in Spring Valley and the weather sucks, I usually take the AU shuttle and the bus drivers don't care I'm not a student.
i think fairfax is the kind of town that wants all your money. if i'm not correct, i believe i did get carded . . . but good lord that was awhile ago and i smoked pot back then. even if, it is dirt cheap compared to a cab but make sure you have the schedules versus metro times down and on your way home, you might still have to do the ole, "when do i leave the show with the cab and when does the last train depart vienna?"
but for mars volta, it is worth it.

Wow, you're a Patriot ;D

It just occurred to me that I've seen Soundgarden live at a small club in 1988, and the price was in the single digits. I remember Cornell standing and singing from atop the bar.
Of course, I was there to see the opening act, Living Colour.

how odd . . . this band soundgarden has a habit of having openers better than them.

One of my favorite shows ever was Soundgarden in 1991 with Monster Magnet and Swervedriver as the opening acts. I wouldn't call those two better than Soundgarden, but they were damn good opening acts.
Definitely excited about this show, particularly after the recent Chris Cornell tour.
