i know it's so much fun being a contrarian, and those band names you came up with are simply, flat-out, 100%, hi-larious (they made me laugh and laugh and laugh!) … but once all the uncontrollable guffaws subsided, i realized that (a) none of the bands you conflated sound remotely like each other, and (b) you've never even heard any of these groups

This only works if the bands are similar – ie, different versions of the same "sound of the moment", and these don't work based on that premise (nor does the first list)

- Sloan is NOTHING like British Sea Power

This is just mish-mashing band names.

I can actually only tell who's who from the preview pane on the 9:30 site. For some reason, it shows the user's original username.
