For real. I'm a Bengals fan, and today's game at Cleveland is one of the few I was confident they would win this season.
Why wasn't everyone else picking Houston? Without Manning, Indy is a 3-13 team at best.
WHY?!?! Are you FROM Cincinnati?
When the team you picked is playing against a team with a rookie quarterback….and that rookie quarterback gets knocked out at half time…and BRUCE GRADKOWSKI(!) has to come in…and you STILL lose then that, my friend, is just not your year.

P.S. The Colts should bring back Jeff George. He's still available. And as we know, the buzz word for this new decade is "closure."

The amount of research I put into this week was probably more than the last 4 years combined. I really didn't feel confident about this week at all. I had Houston for most of the week and then got nervous about Fosters leg. I had KC and Cle at one point but ultimately settled on AZ once they hit 9.5 points. Damn that was close….

If New England loses tonight there will only be a handful of teams left.

Eliminated in Week 2
Nobody
Picks
9 - Pittsburgh
1 - Green Bay
1 - New York Jets
Honestly, no surprise here. After what Smackie felt was the toughest week one in our short survival pool history, it was followed up with the easiest week we may have ever had. How easy? I went 14-1 (Tennessee) in my pigskin pickem and picked up a cool $400. Funny story though….there were three people at 13-1 with me, and we all have the NYG tonight. I spent the entire PHI-ATL game thinking that I had picked PHI (which I had originally), only to find out after the game that on Friday, the line moved 1.5 points towards ATL and I had changed my pick to ALT. I was the only one that had ATL and now that pool is free.

Norv is just the kind of guy who would let everyone down on a gimme game like this. Especially so early in the season.

This might be the week to go with someone else, could be the way to win given that 99% of the people are going with one team. An upset and you could be the lone team standing.

I'm really liking Seattle this week.
I'm in a $20 loser pool with 250+ people. Just about everybody picked Seattle to lose last week, but one guy picked Green Bay and was eliminated. I looked at his pick the week before and he picked New Orleans (who faced GB). I was astounded. Maybe he thought it was a winners pool with a second chance?
