Axl is lost in an alternate reality.  He's a ghost. The rest of the band can act like he died when they attend the ceremony, which to a certain extent he did.  Bill Bailey still lives, I guess.

So is it that Axl thought that the current lineup should be inducted?  That is what I infer from it.

unclear…but issues over the new lineup and the fact he seems to loath Slash seem to be there..

That's the museum which is of course a completely different thing… tons of artists not in the Hall of Fame are included as part of the exhibits..

We call it the "great rock and roll hall of fame and museum".  I love the museum.  I love the hate letter to the rolling stones.  Been there three times.  (the 60's exhibit, the doors, and john lennon).  Always go there on our way home from Cedar Point.

So why didn't they just get a hologram Axl Rose? I would've been cool with that.  Hell, I'd go see a tour based around that…

two things makes this story awesome:

- axl apologizes for not apologizing.  this whole idiotic story has just gone meta.  either that, or he has an upcoming show in cleveland that he doesn't want to be boo'ed at.

- axl somehow incorporates a story about buying pizza for a homeless woman into his reply.
