So who is in the band and at the Filmore?  I guess their stadium days are behind them.

Today, Axl Rose is the only remaining original member, in a lineup that comprises lead guitarists Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and DJ Ashba, rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, drummer Frank Ferrer, and keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman.

Three guitarists and two keyboardists? Are that many really necessary?

Moderation has never been Axl's strong suit.

The current tour has been getting some great reviews

Show was epic.  Axl still sounds great and the band plays the hell outta those songs.  Getting home at 4am wasn't so great.

Did he really need that many breathers? Assuming he was not doing very much during the instrumental jams.

yah i was majorly bummed to miss it. ..opportunity won't come again i'm pretty sure… .had almost a confirm on a ticket but then a 9 am meeting came up and i was like this ain't going to work.. ;D

What a set list! If only I would have had an extra 100 bucks for this…

Did they hit the stage at 11:30, if so was it over 3 hours?  Thats kinda funny that they all do different themes for the guitar solo.  Slash did the Godfather theme, now someone does Pink Panther and the other does James Bond.  I would do Jaws, Halloween or maybe something from West side story.  :)

So when did they stop selling booze for this show? Pity the guys coming down off a booze high 3/4 of the way through the show.

The signs at the bar said last call at 1:45 - no idea if it happened or not.
