Robert Griffin III

what is Shanahan's security at this point? If Skins have a losing season does he come back? What are people's thoughts?
I think he's secure because Bobby Griff IS still a rookie. You can't really expect him to turn it around in 1 year with a phenom at the helm and certainly not with all of the injuries just piling up. If he had his starting safeties, his leading pass rusher, his starting wide receiver, and his starting tight end and they were looking this fucking god damn awful, maybe he'd be on the hot seat. I think it's reckless to drop Shanny after this year and bring in a whole new system.

What I have liked it the way Kyle has been able to move the ball with RG3 and the sub par offense, but what I haven't liked is the opposite side of the ball. Can Jim Haslett call ONE fucking decent defensive scheme? I get that the line and the secondary are banged up, but it gets fucking absurd that we're almost guaranteed to see multiple passing plays break for 20+ yards ESPECIALLY on crucial downs. We might as well go for it on 4th downs from here on out because no matter where on the field the other team is they always move the fucking ball on us.
Mike Shanahan and his ball-less son have the worst record in franchise history through the first 2.5 seasons. What on earth does this guy have to do to get fired?
Since we all know the insane stats of the past 2 weeks [561 yards, 8 touchdowns, 146.1 Qb rating] I thought it'd be nice to point out RG3 now has the highest selling jersey in the league too!

I know I'll be getting one and both of my little sisters have ones of their Christmas list as well.

Had the absolute PLEASURE of going to see the Skins decimate the shit sipping Eagles a couple weeks back AND I have tickets to freeze my ass off on Monday night as well! I have confidence that we can beat the Giants, hopefully we spank them at home and bring some semblance of a home field advantage to FedEx going into the Ravens game because I can see that being nasty with Baltimore fans coming down and flooding OUR stadium. No matter how much I hate FedEx Field, it is still, unfortunately, home.

EDIT: Incredible article from ESPN NY:

It's essentially the Giants defensive line shitting their pants/praising RG3 and his abilities. These guys are our rivals? Lol. I sincerely hope we destroy them under the national spotlight.
Your sincerity is noted and much appreciated.
I couldn't be more serious about how badly I want to destroy them. I'm trying and I just cannot.
Seeing this guy in person 2 times in 3 weeks has really been an early Christmas present. He's SO effing fast.
A LOT of football players that thank god and jesus and all kinds of other religious stuff on Twitter. Not a big deal to me. A way cooler story is Daniel Snyder being overheard in the locker room saying "I hate those motherfuckers" - referring to the Giants. Duh.

a lot of football players are idiots… personally I find it offensive.. it offends my intelligence to have people suggest that god is up there blessing certain players/teams or something.. how absolutely stupid. a cool player would of course never resort to this Jesus baloney.. I can't recall Joe Montana ever going "I want to thank the Lord for my 4 TDs and comeback drive.."

if that Snyder story is a "cool" story please don't share any more.

I love the way DC is celebrating a 6-6 team as if they won the Super Bowl.. typical of the loser mentality that long ago took hold.

If you want to stop people believing in god you have an uphill battle.

Oh I don't… people believing in God is peachy. no problem at all.. whatever helps people make it through the night and all that…

Just believing in a god that would favor a person and let him a win a football game over other people.. that is beyond idiotic and insults the intelligence of a 4 year old.

Fortunately for you, this is the ONLY cool Snyder story in, what, 15 years now?

DC is celebrating a young quarterback breathing life into a franchise that 17 days ago was buried by everyone and even had a coach "give up" on the season. A rookie who is shattering franchise and league records. God forbid Redskins fans and the city have something to cheer about. I guess we SHOULD be rooting for the 1-13 Wizards of the season-less Capitals.

Your negativity is what's wrong with this city, root for the team or don't, but don't gloat and if you are don't be offended when I tell you to suck my whole dick.

If RG3 keeps on not turning the ball over, winning games, and have defenses on their heels, he can praise the devil openly and I  won't give a shit.

If God does exists, I don't see what would be idiotic for him/her to have a favorite football team or player.

I wanted you to though, hence my suggestion to you. But if you decline, then I will wallow in my own sorrow I guess.  :'(

Most of the league has a boner of this kid. Not seeing why people are excited is just………………………………………………………. being a hipster douche. :p
