Can we talk about this guy for a second? Setting league and franchise records week to week, not only for rookies but for all quarterbacks and now even running backs! Going into the season I didn't have my hopes too high just because he was a rookie and I had questions about the offensive line, but through 6 games I am very VERY impressed and 100% excited about this dudes potential. I can't WAIT to see what he does on the field and I honestly can't recall being able to say that about any player except for maybe Sean Taylor or Darrell Green… Would love to go into NYC and take a win from them this weekend! Get the season started off right in the division!
Robert Griffin III
Agreed. The kid is amazing. Seems everyone is gunning for him so I really hope he does not get more concussions and/or injured.
I'm a Ravens fan who likes to root for all the local teams, and I'm super impressed by him. He is hardcore. Happy for my Redskin fan friends that the team is looking up!
If the dude is so good why are the Shanahans trying to kill him?
Hey ladies, what are you two doing after the game?

I can always tell whether the Redskins won or not because when they do, their players are always wearing their jerseys to work on the Monday morning train. We used to do that in high school, nice to see the tradition carries on all the way through to the pros.

Seems to be the only way they can move the ball is the triple option. It's a real shame that Pierre is still out, but why did we bring in Josh Morgan if we aren't going to utilize him? What is this formation with Brandon Banks in the backfield?
Griff seemed to do a pretty good job of getting out of bounds and getting rid of the ball when he had too. I believe he has a QB rating at 100.3 right now as well…. We'll see how he fares against the division!
i've never known a dj . . . who knew so much about sports.
Rookie of the month in September, 3rd time being rookie of the week through 6 weeks of play. Goodness!
At the first Walkmen show at the 9:30, Hamilton Leithauser gazed out into the audience and asked "Did RGIII make it in ok?"
I went to see the GZA last night at Howard and chants of "RG3" broke out randomly during the opening act. Pretty awesome.
Did you see Killer Mike at that show? If so how was he?
There's a football player called "Killer Mike"? That's awesome.

I was actually pretty impressed, definitely gonna look up his stuff. Unfortunately I didn't know anything about him before the show. He really had the crowd rockin by the end of his set. He got a little political, I thought it was cool, but some people didn't.
Well. For the first time in maybe a decade + i'm excited about the skins. The nats getting knocked out and the prospect of no hockey season could have something to do with that.
But RGIII sure seems like the complete package. Exceeding my expectations x1000.

While I like RG3, I think it's a little prmature to crown him. I mean, you could hav written this same post about Cam Newton last year. Best of luck to Mr. Griffin, but I will wait until he performs well in multiple seasons before I jump on the bandwagon.
Through 6 games he's the highest rated QB in the league and has the highest completion percentage. He's thrown 2 INTs all season, leads all QBs in rushing yards, is in the top 5 in scoring TDs, and is part of the 2nd best rushing attack in the league and tied for the highest scoring team in the league. This is a rookie and he exudes confidence and a calm, cool demeanor. Rex Grossman did not show me that, even when he was with the Bears, even when he won a Super Bowl. Todd Collins didn't show me that, neither did Jason Campbell, Patrick Ramsey, Danny Wuerfel, Tony Banks, Jeff George, or the million other QBs we've had to suffer through.
I get that it's 6 weeks in, but this is arguably the best 6 weeks of any Redskins quarterback play in the past decade….. You may be able to point to Mark Brunell, but he was a grizzled vet by the time he came here. I wasn't excited at the start of the season and I'm sure he will still go through some growing pains, but to not be excited YET is weird and maybe a little too pessimistic.

What is their won/lost record?
Unfortunately, 3-3. You are what your record is, but did lose all 3 of those games by 1 score or less. So they were in all of them and I can confidently attribute that to Griffin.
What a soul crushing loss. We NEED something in our secondary. Unbelievable that was lost Fred Davis for the year AND London Fletcher goes down? Ugh. Injuries are really bumming me out. Shows the team has some insane resiliency….
