How To Get A Free Drink At Eight Bars Around Town
Every Thursday night for three months this spring and summer, you can get a discounted Lyft ride home and one free drink at eight D.C. bars.
Here’s how it works, according to Lyft: You show up at one of the participating bars, ask for a free Lyft drink, and show the bartender the Lyft app on your phone. The bartender will make you a specialty cocktail (be advised: you don’t get to choose which one), and then type a special promo code into your Lyft app to get you 20 percent off your ride home.
The eight bars participating are mostly concentrated near the U Street corridor: There’s American Ice Company, Brixton, El Rey, Gaslight Tavern, and Satellite Room. You can also access the deal closer to Logan Circle at Players Club, in Petworth at Ten Tigers Parlour, or at The Wharf’s Brighton.
The promo runs from 5 p.m. till midnight on Thursdays only, through July 4. According to Lyft, the code you get from the bartender will only be usable until midnight, and you can only take advantage of the deal once per week.

These will mainly be $20 arena shed tickets…basically worthless…go to any shed show and you will find people handing out extras but do you want to drive out to Bristow?
