ok kids, it's on:
930 Survivor Pool 2014 - how to join:go to
http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/survival/register/joingroupGroup ID#: 29465
Password: ninethirty
we're starting the pool in week two of the season, so you have until Sunday (9/13) at 1 pm EDT to join (or join before Thursday's kickoff if you want to pick a winner from that game).
$5 - every participant must play the $5 version of the Survival Football pool, winner take all.
$100 - in addition to the $5 pool, an optional $100 per person pool is a side pool for those that wish to participate. The decision must be made prior to week two of the NFL season or prior to the Thursday game if you pick that game (AKA the pool's first week). To signify your willingness to participate, simply put an asterisk next to your submission name (example: SweetPix*).
Pay via PayPal, details on the Yahoo site. Let me know of any questions and good luck!

What do you mean? I have my account linked to it right now. It still asks me to transfer funds from my bank to my PayPal account. When I get money in my PayPal account I have to transfer it to my bank. Is there a way that whatever goes into my PayPal goes straight to my bank account?

If it's connected to your account, you don't have to "transfer" funds. You can just send the money and it will pull the $$$ automatically.

Wow, I'm very dumb. I've wasted so much time doing that.
Anywho, money has been sent! Only 3 people in there?

There is also a $1,000 option which earns all participants an intimate lunch with Seth. So, even if you lose, you win!!

indeed, sorry, i thought we had already discussed that. since there are so few high rollers, no need to indicate on the Yahoo site with a symbol - just declare your intentions here.

i believe that the winner picks the restaurant so you should join, kick everyone's asses, then make them pay you at some frou-frou tofu emporium.
edit: gaddam connectivity is intermittent here at the office, taking forever to post… so GGW & Jules beat me to it. anyhoo, you have until sunday 12:59 pm to join - the thursday cutoff is only if you want to pick the thursday PIT @ BAL game.

Just to clarify - the winner (in the spirit of good sportsmanship) also picks up the tab for the meal.

Of course. A gentleman is gracious in victory and defeat. I would expect nothing different from you two good sirs.

Three. Dr. Anton Phibes also participates.
I recall vansmack joined one year as well. And I'm certain sweetcell will be joining this season.

Sadly, I am still prohibited from gambling by NCAA rule. I'm even searching for a a new AD right now so I feel this year is more justified than last.
