I would be going there if it wasn't my sister's wedding day.  thinking about getting up early and going to the annapolis store to see if they have anything.

They definitely participate.

Yeah, they're on the list.

Tomorrow!!! As long as I get one of the ones on my list, I will be satisfied.

Anyone else hitting up Ka-Chunk???

I'll probably head somewhere late afternoon and see if anything is still available… The strip of record stores on GA always have a lot of events, etc. throughout the day. I think there's a band or two at Joe's.
Ka-Chunk was pretty picked over by the time I got there at 1:30.
Well, they did have a lot of records left, but not too many of the ones that I wanted.
I did grab the Pantera/poison Idea seven inch so it wasn't a total bust.
I Almost got the Joy Division release but decided not to.

The clerk said the first people in line were there from 11 pm yesterday.
snagged the three albums i was looking for…
-remastered oracular spectacular
-best of sub pop/pissed jeans live at bbc
-parquet courts 7" single.

the parquet courts 7 comes with sheet music.
I got to tracks on wax at 1 PM there were a ton of people there and I didn't see any record store day stuff so I left.  I was just looking for the Dresden Dolls first album on vinyl. I don't know why they have to do releases as record store day stuff. It is lame. It is for people who have no lives.  Just release stuff every week of the year.

I never made it out today but I saw some nozzle sitting in front of the Record Exchange in Silver Spring last night around 1am… He was actually the same guy that was first in line last year too.

I am traveling in Istanbul and went to a record store out here yesterday.  Not many releases but it was a fun time with a bunch of local bands playing sets.

dope!
And it continues! I am heading to Baltimore (Atomic/Celebrated) to see if anything is left, and help a friend grab one of those Peanuts players!
i was not aware that the dead kennedys had a box set of seven inches for this here record day thing.  i like the dead kennedys and all . . . but such things are too much work for todays google that shit kind of world.
I grabbed a couple more records today. The only RSD exclusive was the alternate cover version of Wildhoney 's debut EP (alternate cover version called Another Weed World).

I also grabbed the non-RSD releases of the In School - Praxis of Hate seven inch and the Void - Sessions 1981-83 LP.
Did anyone see the REM Unplugged?  It's insane price wise on ebay…

Unless you were one of the trekkies that slept over night at a record store, you probably weren't going to snag that release.
on a vinyl related topic the ween live at stubbs bootleg lp release sounds great…. its a four lp set split in two volumes.. i got volume 2… its colored vinyl…. 2 is the browner part of course
It was a good day - I was in PGH for Mom's hip replacement surgery (all good) and went to the Attic in Millvale (worth an afternoon if you get up there):

Bowie - 1984 7"
Donny Hathaway Live 1971
Pogues w/Joe Strummer
Zombies - Odessey @ Oracle
Gil Scott Heron - Nothing New
Wizard of Oz OST
The Orwells 12"
Jaco Pastorius acetate demos

would have liked, but I will live:
Nino Rota Amarcord OST
V.U. - Loaded
