You could use some Belle and Sebastian.
I wish hutch would do a thread like this.  I've gotten some awesome recommendations from that hutch guy.  Hutch?

1998 called.  It wants its music recommendations back.
I had such high hopes for this thread

Man beat me to the punch on that one…
I in fact got in a dispute with Jeepster when I was trading live shows cassettes back in 97
and honestly didn't like much they put out after 1998, ending with "This Is Just a Modern Rock Song"

Next nearly 2 decade old suggestion?

Please don't inflate his ego…I'd like to say I taught him everything he knows…but that would be incorrect
People want musical recommendations from Hutch? How long have I been asleep? What year is it?

If I want to hear insane rants about how small markets should never get good concerts or intellectually devoid thoughts on ticket resale, then hutch is my guy!
Y'all should be asking me what to listen to. Your day will become infinitely better with the new Ex Hex single, Broncho, and I'm digging the new Warpaint LP. And though it's not new, "Gyrate" by Pylon gets listened to at least once a week, and I'm a much happier person because of it.
whoa…don't put actual good recommendations in this thread

I actually enjoy all of these acts. Bermond has very good taste in my humble opinion.

Edit: Bear man
ive always thought that sidehatch was hutchs alter ego.  like the giant and the dancing dwarf on twin peaks.
I should hijack this thread as well
