It's not intended to be rude at all. I apologize if it came off wrong, but I do think you're missing the general spirit of the thing entirely, and specifically the parts where (1) he has done this sort of thing before, (2) he posted he was willing to do it again if it cost him nothing, and (3) it really is an end-around way of raising cash for something he cares about.

I think it is funny,  and if it raises the funds, I guess I will be going to Nickelback. 

I do kind of agree that this was in good fun, hardly call it rude

I mean Julian did kind of go overboard here, but with RR LimpBizcut show report, who better to do a nickelback one.  it's obvious that RR hates that kind of music…he'd kind of be the bordie Gonzo reporter

If anything on this board ever deserved a double META: META: tag, it would be someone starting a crowdsourcing campaign to purchase a perk in a currently existing crowdsourcing campaign to purchase tickets for a boardie so they can create content for the messageboard.

I'm open for suggestions. I can add perks at any time. As I said in the listing, if anyone has like, a record/book/poster/ticket they don't want and are willing to give it away, let me know and I'll list it as a 1 of 1 perk for a reasonable donation.
