A lot of people trash this (including the band), but I think it's actually really solid. Loved it when it came out, still listen to it.

I'd say this was U2's finest moment, and it came out around a really formative and positive time in my life…so I've got nothing but good things to say about it even if a lot of those reasons are personal. I still remember hearing "One" for the first time and thinking it was one of those perfectly-written songs. Say what you will about U2, but this is a great LP.
(And a huge YES to the Orbital's self-titled LP. Great stuff.)
