The Mueller report thread

We are Bernie Bros, but even my wife doesn't want to fuck Bernie.

Speaking of which, if anyone is in the Alexandria area and wants to come to a Bernie kick-off event, we're hosting one.  DM me and I'll send the invite.

I am not much paying attention to really, like all of this here report.  I take it, like some new tv show I am not watching, because I can not, keep up with everything else out there.  I know a little bit about the report, and what it is trying to prove . . . then I don't really care all of a sudden.  I find it amusing; like a wonderfully wound novel of what life is all about.

I know the rich and powerful, control everything, and the poor and underprivileged cannot ever make it . . . but I don't know what to do about it, so I just work my job and pretend everything is ok by coming home, drinking a beer, thinking about what the world would be like if everybody just loved everyone else and fully supported everyone else, as if our planet is playing a universal game of futball.

viva earth, bitch . . . viva earth.

This basically and almost perfectly sums up my wife's feelings about all this. I hear this all the time. Except the futball part. And throw in a reference to how Bernie can save us all. And how sexy Bernie is, and how she'd do Bernie and feel the Bern.

I'll forward you Hutch's email…he soo wants to go
I'd be honored to host Hutch at my definitely real home address that I'm giving and not the location of our local landfill.

donny love your GOT themed tweet!  Does this mean 2020 will kind of be like the Red Wedding?

I know I wasn't going to post about this…but this related to a post I previously did

HBO is not happy
"Though we can understand the enthusiasm for Game of Thrones now that the final season has arrived, we still prefer our intellectual property not be used for political purposes."

although no cease and desist or legal action…come on HBO (guess they love the free advertising)

I always felt that nkotb's return was some sort of Multi-level marketing scheme he was recruiting for.  Now it all makes sense.

And what was it that compelled you to click the thread called "The Mueller Report Thread" after posting yet another GoT image?  Just to see our reaction?

Just admit it: you can't quit it.
Just make sure you bring a set of keys if you decided to come to the party

See.  Now I still wished I live in DC…that's my kind of party.
ok, enough with you amateurs… this is lawfare:

What Mueller Found on Russia and on Obstruction: A First Analysis
https://www.lawfareblog.com/what-mueller-found-russia-and-obstruction-first-analysis

"(The Mueller Report) poses the question of whether this conduct is acceptable—not whether it’s lawful or prosecutable or whether the evidence is admissible, but whether as a nation we choose to accept it, and if not, what means we exercise to reject it."

Ok I really can't resist…as there is some really good content out there

So excited for the Joy Division reissue

Didn't really care for this album, no wonder it was in the cut out section

And no fuckers I'm not going to cite my twitter sources!

That's the most un-legal thing I've ever read.

correct, and that's what the authors were going for.
can't believe after two years…still feeling like this is a nothingburger :(
I know it's kicked off a ton of other things…but it would have been nice to have had a definitive conclusion

This is getting interesting with Barr/Muller

Might Barr have perjured himself?

“Did Bob Mueller support your conclusion?" Van Hollen asked.
"I don't know whether Bob Mueller supported my conclusion,” Barr replied.

Just how honest and candid Barr was with Congress is now in play. As it turns out, Mueller himself wasn’t comfortable with Barr’s take on his work and he wrote to the Justice Department on March 27 to complain about it in detail – almost exactly two weeks before Barr began testifying otherwise to Crist and Van Hollen.
“There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation,” Mueller wrote. “This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations.”
I take it you read the report and felt you couldn’t draw a conclusion?
