The Mueller report thread

I take it you read the report and felt you couldn’t draw a conclusion?

my opinion means nothing…I will be honest, I have not read the full report.

Kinda fell like there were no new revelations in this…Trump did everything in public and most had already been reported on.
Was hoping for a smocking gun
What annoys me the most is I've always heard the adage "Ignorance is no excuse" for breaking a law

but in this case…"The Mueller report didn't charge Don Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump or Jared Kushner with campaign finance violations because Mueller believed that these individuals were too ignorant to know they were breaking the law"
So my understanding is SDNY is taking this up…but I think it would have had a lot more credibility if they were indited on these obviously illegal acts in the Mueller report and more credibility to "they may not have been successful at colluding/conspiring with a foreign adversary…but they tried and that is ILLEGAL"
And yes, no dirt on Trump specifically on that…but when his whole entire election team is serving Jail time…would think that some pro-trumpers might start scratching their head…maybe this wasn't a witch hunt?
well….there is this

except this isn't new… Rep. Green has introduced resolutions to begin impeachment proceedings many times in the past.  it's sorta his shtick.  never goes anywhere.

Perhaps he's going to suggest to his colleagues this time "Lets get it on".

think it would have been funnier with an actual Al Green song like "Tired of Being Alone" instead of a Marvin Gaye song…

That's the joke.

Watching Republicans suck Barr’s cock is disgusting

It just shows people are willing to sell and whore out their souls for power

Not a revelation I suppose but still eye opening
Do not kink shame.

For most married guys, a bj probably seems like a once a year rarity, but it really shouldn't be.

It seems like nobody is going to do anything about him.

Or they know they can tie things up in court for a couple years and, hopefully, delay past the 2020 Election.  William Barr has wanted this fight over executive privilege since he was in law school….

isn't this from the nixon playbook
(I was still nursing at the time…and honestly don't know the story that well)…1972 Americans gave Nixon a landslide, taking 60.7% of the popular vote and carrying 49 states
he holds the record for the widest popular vote margin in any United States presidential election

Yes and no, but Nixon ultimately quit the fight rather than face impeachment.  Trump has shown absolutely no indication to do so, and I doubt he will resign or face impeachment, based on the current evidence.  William Barr is working for his perfect man at the moment, and Trump has his perfect AG.
Donny B won't stay quiet any longer
Don Beyer is the first member of Congress from Virginia to call for President Trump's impeachment.
President Trump told reporters at an impromptu press conference on Wednesday that he will not negotiate with Democrats in Congress on an infrastructure package or other bipartisan policy proposals until they call off their investigations.

nice leverage…no deals until you take the heat off me.

I think he really thinks that the Dems will eventually give up if he keeps being a pain?
I don't think there is any scenario where that happens…but makes for good headlines on why nothing is getting done
