Seth in the news

You're not very good at this whole bbs thing, are you?

The whole point of a good title is to downplay huge news so that the news hits you even harder. Kind of like getting a blow…..never mind.
If he is convicted does he have to give up all the clubs?

totally, it's in the sex offenders law in MD
but I guess that would only be MPP
I think a separate case will be filed in DC, where the law is that his assets get shared equally with all Individuals in DC who are residents on the date of the crime

We have some legal people on this board, but I'm willing they'll back me up

On behalf of vansmack and HoyaSaxa, let me just confirm this is correct.
Just found out about this and - like everyone else, I'm sure - literally came here first. Appears I am the last boardie to have heard the news.

Typical.

I blame myself for coming back…everything was fine until then!!!!!!

I wanted to get back to this
YES
actually I think it all started when you came up with some lame excuse

not to go to the board funded NKOTB show

In my eyes that was the foreshadowing of all of this!!!!!!

and now it's in Billboard…man this fire caught quick

I am curious how TM-UL scooped so many on this board…

I mean the cat's out of the bag, it's a shit show from here out

acquaintance of mine is already like "your going to support these venues after this"
I've cursed this place and brought ruin upon us all
I, only have one thing to say . . .

I would have, rubbed and tugged that sexy man, anytime he liked.  Free of charge, and no going to the news about it.

I would have loved him, long time.  Anything, you want.
Does this result in canceled shows because artists don't want to be associated?
This upsets me more than it should.

Everyone has their flaws, but in this climate, I would think that there will need to be a change in leadership, maybe give day-to-day control to Sam w/Rich, andat the same time bestow more prominent roles on Audrey/Melanie so that the organization is more female-fronted to weather the storm. Artists/management are going to want to know that this has been resolved satisfactorily.

Also, if it sounds at all like I know what I am talking about, it shouldn't. I am just another internet reply-guy who happens to know some names.

this is what I fear is going to happen
every one is gong to try to out woke the next

The WTOP article has some different information…pretty graphic and it didn't appear in any of the other stories…odd
All the other stories just mimicked the police report to a T

that's what local journalism has become: getting someone else's info and barely repackaging it.  they have like 2 or 3 reporters covering the entire DC/MD/VA area… ain't got time for original reporting.  grab the press release, re-word it from passive to active voice, and boom - on to the next story.

he also has to shave his head, sell all his cars and become vegan for a minimum of 6 months.  it's the law.

My wife made me do all those things the last time I asked her for a hand job. Otherwise, I'd still be driving the Saturn.

Did you remember to google yourself on your phone and show her first?

A police press release isn't "someone else's info." It's an official statement.

highly doubtful
Holy shit, you guys are right…the WTOP story definitely adds a few extra creepy details. Great stuff!

You don't seem well versed in the legal system these days, not sure why you question the veracity of some random persons statement on a music club's forum
I do think the DC part will be more complicated as gentrification is now being put forward as the justification of why this all happened (and not NKTOB's actions) so this case could go on for years
Just how reliable are the victim's statements if she claimed she did not know who Seth was until he Googled himself and showed her? In what world is it possible that someone does not know the managing partner of IMP? I suppose next you're going to tell me a Surprise! At The Club with Neil Young & Crazy Horse is unlikely – as though Neil Young wouldn't be honored to play there? Doesn't add up. Doesn't add up at all, my friends. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have rare French white-label test pressings of Francois Hardy to listen to as I stroke my autographed headshot of Al Franken longingly.
