Seth in the news

Who has the worst "take" on this ever? Not me.
Imagine feeling so strongly about a music venue that you turn on this level of cognitive dissonance towards super-credible allegations of sexually harassment and solicitation against its owner. How little must one have in their life for this to be a hill they want to die on?

I'm ride or die for a guy who charges me $16 for a double rail vodka and soda!
^^ It has just come to my attention from the esteemed Mr. The Director that I have missed notme's witty throwback to Marion Barry. I retract my previous hilariously scathing commentary but reserve the right to use it again later if someone else (*cough*HTCH*cough*) goes down the fanboy path.
bitch set me up

we're all failing our local history lesson here…
Fake news
Not that it matters but here's what I think will happen, prefaced with I Am Not A Lawyer (not doing the acronym right now…)

Probation, fine, community service, and a class about why you should never do that again. Maybe a few weekends in the pokey. Best case: probation before judgement. No sanctions on his business empire.

Not gonna speculate here on the effect on his private/family life, other than to say that the women's rights sign may have already been there and put up by his wife.

I read that as WJLA pointing out the hypocrisy of having that sign in one's yard and subjecting a female professional to unwanted advances.

Now that makes more sense…

That's what drunktang was saying.

maybe…but DT hasn't posted since the Minivan posting surfaced

Well he wasn't referencing the Minivan or the sign on the lawn. I think his point was that lots of liberal men champion women's rights but then are total douches in the way they actually personally treat women. Which is certainly true.

Drunktang chiming in - this is exactly the point I was trying to make.  I did have a bottle of merlot last night so sorry if I was not clear.

That must be what it's all about,
That must be what it's all about
Welp Hoya too
well damn . . . I was, just about to post in here, that Seth can rest easy for the weekend, because this place dies on Fri after 5 through Monday 8 am.
Just got an email shared with me from Seth to IMP staff announcing he will be stepping aside “for the time being”. Donna Westmoreland, the COO, will take over day-to-day operations.

Ugh….that is not what the email says…

Donna has been running day to day operations for years and will continue to do so
At least you didn’t share the note from Donna
Will Donna be responding to the "Hey Seth" thread, or do we need to start a "Hey Donna" thread?
Should have been the hey Donna thread all along
Since he’s had little to with the day to day for more than a decade
