Didn't Frog Eyes play Iota in 2004?

I saw them at Iota (opened for and played with Destroyer), and they may have played another show as well
Tom Waits played at the Warner in the 80's. I missed him then, and have been waiting for him to return since. Seth, can you help?!?
Embrace (I think?)

I remember they were scheduled to come here a few years ago and the tour got cancelled.

i saw maximo park last year performing in some festival in france with the futureheads and kaiser chiefs, and from what i recall, they were really horrible. but then again i was on the verge of blacking out so dont take my word for it.

Wow.. Maximo Park horrible? I find that hard to believe. I saw them in NYC in the wee hours of the morning, and they were incredible! Paul sounds incredible live, the band tears it up on stage and they are fun! A friend of mine has seen them a handful of times throughout the states, and she said every time is even better!
Didn't the Manic Street Preachers schedule a couple shows here and then pull out? I know they supported Oasis at the Nissan awhile back, so maybe that disqualifies them, but I don't think they've played in DC.
i booked frog eyes at the warehouse next door in may 2005, and there were about 18 people there.

i like their music and everything, but the sound was a little off and there was no flow to their show at all. paul kept stopping, once in the middle of a song, to tell the crowd to calm down. it was in a patriot center-type concert hall and people were trying to mosh at the front, but instead a bunch of teenage girls just ended up getting stomped. kaiser chiefs played next and ricky (?) didnt say anything. instead he even encouraged it stage diving. man that was a good set. it was prob better than when i saw them here 2 summers ago.

I think they were on the bill with Keane and The Killers at MPP the summer before last.

didn't catch that surrounding area caveat at the end. well aware of those shows. i was thinking proper headlining show. not getting roped into those type of shows.

raconteurs played the fucking norva for chrissakes. no 9:30? what the shit? i'm sure it didn't work out or whatever and wasn't for a lack of effort on mr. hurwitz's part. just a bit surprising.
