Nick Cave played the 9:30 Club with Neko Case not too long ago…

WTF it's been way overdue that Clutch hasn't played in DC in quite sometime. They're usually good for once every 5-6 months but nothing for an end of the year show in DC.
Filter was a horrible show last time they played. Very disappointing. I hope with him sober now it will be better, I'll give him another chance ;)
Girls Against Boys would be nice to see again back "home"
MindCage
Mindless Faith

A Lexus-Nexus search shows that they've only been written up in an Orlando paper and an Austin paper, where they're from, with a paragraph in Spin. Is that really overhyped? What am I missing?

Relaxer - you just used Lexis-Nexis to defend your boys… talk about street cred!!!

Originally posted by sweetcell:And how's this for street cred, I don't pay for it. My job from four years ago didn't delete my account, so I still have it. I basically only use it to get NYTimes Select articles that aren't on the free site. And to search for all those hype mentions of The motherfucking Sword.

Usually at the Paramount. Not as cool as the 930, but nice place anyway.

Really? Have you seen "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada" ? That movie's way better than "The Proposition".

Didn't Versus play the Teenbeat show last year with Tuscadero? Good show.
I have not seen Girls Against Boys play DC in a few years. They have been playing shows occasionally in Europe so DC should not be that hard.
