Being deliberately provocative I see….
Acts that have aged really badly
It's funny that sweets and one other member of this forum consistently rip on two bands I'm a fan of… I'd be willing to bet both of them haven't listened to more than a few minutes of each band.
Additionally, I'd bet dollars to donuts sweets would have the time of his life at a Phish show. Julian on the other hand, is pretty boring so I can see him not enjoying himself.

The Clash
Loved em back in the day. Doesn’t really hold up, IMO.

I unfortunately feel they fall under more of the played to death category for me… Same with the talking heads, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Stones, The Beatles, etc.
I know all of their albums front to back but have been listening for 30+ years.
Milli Vanilli

for ween, you're right. not sure if i've ever heard more than 2 or 3 songs of theirs. i poke fun at them because of the fanbase of theirs i've been exposed to: burnouts trying to relive their college days. obviously not all their fans fit this stereotype.
i'm a little more familiar with phish, and i've even seen them at MPP with my phish-head buddy. i love a good guitar noodle as much as the next gal, but their music bores me pretty quickly. luckily the crowd was, uh… interesting to watch ;D had a good time in the parking lot.
so in summary, it's a bit. i don't harbor any (very) hard feelings against these two bands, but i don't like them either.

heads, zep, floyd: i can still listen to them, and do.
stones, beatles, clash: haven't held up as well, for me. still love their music but don't find myself reaching for them.
