Plans for your second socialist check?

so they could do two things
Override the veto
change it to get the stimulus to $2k per person …but what would that take

Welp a 'find and replace' command seems like all that was needed ;)
But this cannot be? I already shelled out for the family’s European vacation…. what is happening!?!
So do we think the move by the House GOP  helps Warnock and Ossof?
I think it does, but I'm not sure I can hold my breath until Jan 5th

Had to put the down payment in so work on the pool could commence as soon as the ground unfreezes? You’re the last true family man.
Trump signs bill

What a bullshitter

it's all about attention, what a freaking toddler
Yup he had to keep Americans talking about him over the Christmas break…also many will believe he wanted to get them more money but the establishment globalists screwed them over

I so hope once he isn’t president we can do a better job of ignoring him..myself included

I know one is supposed to ignore him…but he is actually still president and no matter how stupid he acts, we do have to pay attention

When he is out of power, that's a different story.  I still think the media and the liberal outrage machine won't resist click-bait headlines with the next crazy thing Trump says.

But I will likely block him on Twitter once he's out of office (I don't follow him, but frequently look him up to see what the latest crazy thing)
I think if I had ignored Trump the last four years my life would have been better and the world wouldn’t have changed.

Think about all the pointless drama…all the manufactured crises…all the press conferences.. all bullshit

But liberals just live for “Did you see what crazy thing Trump said!?”

If we just ignored him would he say crazy things?

If a tree falls but makes no sound did it fall?

Media will not ignore Trump, and when they shine the light on him. liberals will not be able to ignore.

Hell the media still puts the spotlight on Hillary from time to time, and she was never even president.
Chicken vs egg

If media spotlights Trump and we don’t bite they won’t keep doing it

I agree the media has epically failed Americans in its coverage of Trump who is an expert at using the media… Does anyone remember how Joe and Mika turned over Morning Joe to Trump in 2016?!? MSNBC did more for Trump than Fox News in the early part of the Republican primaries..maybe they felt they were causing trouble but it backfired spectacularly
it's two fold…It's really hard to not cover a car crash, especially if there are explosions (a Trump special as they call it in the Biz)

but that so many citizens think what he says and does, is OK for a president…. also makes it news
It'd be different if you take someone like Lyndon LaRouche …he says said (died in 2019) something crazy…and only a fringe amount of people would agree with that.  You really don't need to cover it

but when Trump says it, you've got 70 million who agree with that
so it's news and some daylight should be shown on that because it's an insane statement or way to do something

Trump really broke the media, the gov't and the America people…I don't think we can ever put it back together how it was (yes newt, rush and Murdoch laid the groundwork, but he sealed the deal)
Not sure how we remove the culture war as I think that's the problem, it's not policy.
It's us vs them and even if it's good for me…if it's good for them or what they want….I'm against it
The GOP has one policy right now and it's Liberal Tears.  How does one compromise on that?
So do you think the House will pass a $1400 add-on to send to the senate?
Will they add 230 reform language so dumdumDonnie will sign

Biden has called for Section 230 to be revoked in the past too

So far so good
House passes bill to increase stimulus checks to $2,000

It’s all about GA
I love how rube(io) blames this on the dems (even though they passed things that have been sitting on Mitches desk)

"Remember, months ago Speaker Pelosi and Democrats rejected the Administration’s previous offer of $1,200 per adult and $1,000 per child. Thankfully, she’s finally stopped holding working families hostage," Rubio said.
and just like that…Mitch the bitch kills it
Mitch McConnell has blocked a vote on the $2,000 checks bill passed by the House.

but will it help by giving us the senate with wins in GA?

All he did was kill an immediate vote with no debate. He has yet to kill the vote after debate, or kill it by never even scheduling a vote.

edit: He's promising a vote on it tomorrow.

well I thought the whole point is everyone was onboard, why is a debate needed
