God, I so look forward not talking about cheto
So just heard Biden say he was pretty darn close to picking Bernie
but Bernie told him, losing the senate seat and control of the senate would do more damage than good he could by leading the DOL
UNIONS also are getting a nice shout out!

I have a feeling we'll be talking more about the Cheeto over the next several months than Biden/Harris.

so there really isn't a DNC thread…
Jaime Harrison is the new chair of the DNC.
seems like this should have been Stacey's job, seems like an odd pick since he hasn't been heard from since he lost to lindsay
welp…seems like he knows where they keep the paper clips at the DNC
Harrison is a current associate chair and senior counselor at the DNC

I wonder what in normal times with no pandemic or armed nutjobs running around, what attendance at Biden\Harris inauguration would have been doubtful it would have been the levels of Obama's, but definitely better than 45** Regardless, it would probably be significant with lots of happy people.. and you know the events at Anthem, etc would have been boffo

a D prez is always going to have bigger innauguration crowds than an R, due to the proximity of DC, MD and NoVA. there will always be plenty of folks who will drive/fly in from outta town for either side, but the blues have the benefit of being able to sprinkle some locals on top of the out-of-towners. lucky geography/demographics.

The New Radicals will reunite for the first time in 22 years to perform "You Get What You Give" during Biden inauguration virtual parade
Long-dormant band will perform 1998 hit “You Get What You Give” – Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s walk-on music during presidential campaign – to close out “Parade Across America” event

Wow I had no idea about the song having a connection with Biden..I never read the book although I saw Joe talking about it at the Anthem
I thought they were never a real band so this seems a bit idiotic
It’s not a Beatles reunion!
But cool story and whatever cheers people up

Here’s hoping at least the next two years sees significant legislation and actions that improve the lives of the other 99%, even those who seemingly spend their entire lives sitting around in diners.

What are the chances of a bump in new babies named Robinette over the next 1-4 years?
It's a better name than Khaleesi and hopefully the finale will be more satisfying to revisit than GoT.
