Both major tournaments (well one major and one pretend major) being played at same time for first time?!
That Eriksen heart attack and being revived was maybe craziest thing I ever seen on tv! Glad he is ok
I got France or Belgium winning although for first time ever I want England
In Copa America I got Brazil…obviously rooting for Argentina which gave up hosting due to covid concerns only to see Brazil host yet again as they hosted and won 2019!! DOH

OK, that goalie getting caught in the net like a fish is hilarious. This is the first soccer thing I've ever liked.

i'm still at a loss to explain this move. the argies couldn't host because of covid, so let's more the party to brazil… that has even worse covid???

Argentina definitely looks terrible always nowadays …since 15 years ago
The current situation is a manager with zero previous managerial experience
Tactically he seems to believe there is no need for a holding midfielder so opponents just run through the midfield at will
Last three games Argentina had been leading only to surrender goal and end up with draw… first time in Argentina national team history that has happened
This tournament has 10 teams of which EIGHT will make it to knockout phase!
Blame South American soccer federation for holding tournament in these circumstances.. corruption

France have benefitted from four own goals this season (v Croatia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan & Germany) - their highest tally in history. Lucky

It's pretty simple. Bolsonaro is a butcher and he is desperate to pretend that everything is A-OK in Brazil. Also, he probably cut Conmebol a sweeter deal than they would have got scheduling US venues at the last minute, unfortunately.

It also must be admitted that covid numbers on a per capita basis have been worse lately in Argentina than Brazil; sadly amongst the worst in the world. Argentina has been losing about 600 people a day which adjusted for population is around 4400 for the US! It’s bad down there…
This Copa America should have been played in the US or not played at all
