2023 Albums

Circus Devils - Squeeze The Needle
October 27th - Rockathon Records (GBV)
Based on this list, it doesn't seem like many albums came out in 2023.
11/17 has a couple of interesting releases

Bob Dylan The Complete Budokan 1978
Dolly Parton Rockstar
Juliana Hatfield Juliana Hatfield Sings ELO
Neil Hamburger Neil Hamburger Presents Seasonal Depression Suite

Sir, this is a compendium.

Animal Collective: Isn't It Now?
released today, on Domino

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard: The Silver Cord
October 27th

we're told it's "definitely synth-y" (in case the associated image didn't make that clear…)
i suspect that the folks to whom this is relevant are very aware of this already:

Why do they call him the golden manakee?

I had already called dibs on platinum.
board fave the Bryan Adams is teasing that he's going to release his version of Exile on Mainstreet (called Exile on Mainstream)
I was shocked to read in Lucinda’s memoir all this stuff about Ryan Adams. I had no idea the song Those three days is about him.

Bob's relentless…. outpacing the Gizzards this year….so far
blink-182 dropped "One More Time..." last week.
sounds intriguing…hutch will drool
as part of this year’s Record Store Day Black Friday is David J’s Tracks from the Attic, a three-album compilation of songs recorded by the Bauhaus and Love and Rockets founding member between 1984 and 2004 and never released in physical format before
Actually more likely I buy it once price drops after RSD and never listen to it…his solo stuff is generally uninspired sorry to confess…
Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, now with no drums

Now with no drums!?
(I know it’s for DJs, just weird)
really like the new GBV album…very proggy with lots of twists and turns.
