i've been wondering: how exactly was he difficult? is spitzer some special flavor of kinky? he asked girls to sign fictitious plea agreements while going at it doggy style? what?
looks like the young lady's myspace has been deleted. i had a different link than the one posted above, had these pix on it:

Did this dude learn anything from the
DC Madam Scandal of last year, or Bill Clinton's affair with that intern? Boy, this guy is guilty, guilty of stupidity!

Personally I find nothing wrong with prostitution, but never used one so just pulling numbers out my ear. If she was hot enough I would probably be willing to go $100 for a night of lust but that's it…even at my age I could go out and spend less than that and end up in bed with an attractive woman, especially down here in Palm Beach!!
I was offered two 14 year old twin (girls) for 5 yankee dollar in Singapore one time. It was their father pimping them too!!

I think I saw somewhere the difficulty was he liked his interactions with these girls to be condom-free

We used to play a great game at the bar I worked at that was in a similar vein: What would it cost you?
We would rate the female customers on the "What would it cost you?" scale to to get them in the sack. It wasn't prositution, more like a realistic scale like "three drinks and you'd have her", "that one would definitely require dinner", etc.
The best part was how sliding the scale would become. If the parton became a regular and you had more than a cursory glance at their personality etc., it would adjust accordingly.

That's not really saying much. Her profile made it sound like she's come across a lot of dicks in her life (and I'm not just speaking literally), so all you'd really have to do is half-convince her you were different.

personally, i do have a problem with prostitution.
on a moral level, some girls are forced into the trade. a lot of other would rather be doing something else but have to for financial reasons. having sex with someone who is doing so under duress doesn't work for me.
but on a self-perception level, and this is what i really don't get about people who frequent prostitutes: what does it say about you the client? that you can attract a woman with money? wow… is that the extent of your game? for me, obtaining a lady's favors is a huge ego boost. somehow bypassing that with money would make me feel… cheap.
then there's the health concerns. condoms are very effective, but not perfect.
i've been plenty intoxicated and/or horny and had all sorts of pay-for-play offers made to me (especially in developing countries, where prices were low)… and not once did i think it would have been a good idea.

This "scandal" isn't about prostitution in general; it's more about Spitzer specifically. This is about a guy who prosecuted prostitution rings and who campaigned against prostitution. One of the first laws he signed as governor was legislation that called for a crackdown on the demand for prostitutes and increased the penalties for patronizing a prostitute (1 year in jail).
True to his nature of believing that he is above the rules of mere mortals, he has now hired a blue ribbon team of attorneys to argue why he shouldn't even be indicted (much less prosecuted) under the exact law that he pushed for and that he instituted.
The sad thing is, the douchebag will likely walk.

And to answer Sweetcell's question, I'm guessing that statement right there is exactly the way most johns rationalize it to themselves.
I'm not against prostitution – I think the government has no business making it a crime – but have you ever been in a strip club and seen one of those guys who has like 10 women sitting around him all night? They're doing that 'cause he's peeling off $100 bills. And that guy always looks like he thinks he is absolutely the shit – but a guy who has to pay for women to hang out with him, that guy is as big a loser as they come.

sure, there can be
a financial aspect. a gift of flowers, a meal in a fancy restaurant, a drink in a bar… but it's not the
only aspect. there is still charm, looks, conversation, making a connection, etc. either one of you could walk away at any point, as opposed to the other person being under contract.

sometimes, kicking the douchebag out of office and ruining his name is as good an outcome as us mere mortals can hope for.

and personally, i don't want to be that guy any more than a guy who pays for sex straight up.

I don't think he would be interested in a mistress. It's prostitution that he's into, not adultery. Which makes his ten times the douchebag.
